List of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Of Ny's Reviews
The reason why I'm giving 2 stars is because of the condition of the place not the service of the P.Ts. The P.T.s are great and they do a good job. I don't like seeing or being treated for heat therapy in the gym because the gym is too small for that. I believe this type of therapy should be subjected to privacy! But the condition of the place is horrible. The seats are old, ripped and torn. The seats that are on the weight lifting machines are also ripped and torn. There is also debris falling from the ceiling near the bikes. The corners of the ceilings need to be plastered. I wonder if the gym has asbestos? I brought of these concerns to the office manager. She said they supposed to be moving. They need to move expeditiously! If this was downtown Manhattan the clients wouldn't be treated like this. The doctor that owns this office should be ashamed of himself! I seen him once at the office with a suit on and he didn't stay for long....
Good service. And staff
Physical therapist are great they treat you like a person not a patient they really know what they're doing
If i can give them zero stars I really would they are so horrible they have zero organization skills they cant write or read apparently messed up all my paperwork and if u really in pain and really need physical therapy going here 3 times a week for 10-15 minutes not worth the trip it took me a 2-3 week fight to get my records and paperwork to see someone else and they still cant get it together i pray for anyone who received treatment here and are just as bad or worse from when they started
Very unorganized, I've been inconvenienced on too many occasions and not just me, I see other patients having issues as well. Need to upgrade equipment. I wouldn't recommend.
Their customer service is horrible. They have no consideration for your time. I showed up twice to find out my appointment had been changed without notification after calling out of work for this appointments. The third time I called the day before and they verified I had an appointment the following day, when I got there once again I called out of work and my appointment had been cancelled. I get paid $50.75 p/h so you have an idea of the type of money I am losing for incompetence. I tried speaking to a supervisor to see if there was a way this was not gonna happen again and Jasmin didn’t even let me speak she kept on cutting me off and I called my attorney to be transferred out of this place. Never dealt with such horrible customer service. The people in the back are great, but the people in the customer service front desk will snap like they are bipolar so be careful if you do decide to receive their services.
They never pick up their phones. I call everyday just to see if someone is gonna pick up and nope. Not even to pick and put you on hold.I even call both numbers and still no luck. Please get it together. Sometimes people need to know something or call out and they can’t do that. Other than that the people working there are very nice. They need to dedicate someone to answer the phone. No place can be that busy to where you can’t answer the phone, and if it is then you need to hire someone to just answer the phone.
The staff was very helpful and understanding. They worked really well with accommodating me with my injury and issues I had with my job. Staff was always pleasant and professional.
Air conditioners don't work, have to do therapy in a heatwave with no AC. The entire place smells like sweat! Staff ate very friendly. The place just needs a little maintenance .
The physical Therapists at this location are wonderful. They have great attitudes, they are caring, and patient. They are truly helping me with my injury. This is the only reason why I continue to go to this location. Unfortunately, the therapists' services are being overshadowed by how rude and unorganized the office staff are. I have dealt with the office staff for a year now and most of my encounters are negative. They aren't even aware of how I feel because I go there to get assistance with my injury. The office staff's culture is to be rude. The way that they handle customers/patients is disgusting, there is no sensitivity, they don't even acknowledge when someone is just walking in office. All patients need to sign in at the desk, and they keep the sign in sheet out of reach of the patients behind the desk. As a result, you must ask for the sign in sheet when arriving which is fine but you may stand there for minute waiting to get the sheet because the staff will not acknowledge that you are standing there in front of them. They don't even say, sorry I will be with you in a moment. My latest PT session was yesterday Wednesday, 11/13. The office doesn't close until 7pm during the work week. I arrived at 6:15pm. Upon walking up to the Front desk, the supervisor and her employee complained out loud in front of me along with other patients regarding how annoyed they were about people arriving at 6:15pm. They actually turn off the lights in the waiting area at 6:45pm. Do you think people who are injured should be walking around in the waiting area in the dark?I think the entire office staff needs to get costumer service and sensitivity training. I am a working professional and a parent. I go for Physical Therapy when I can. I may arrive 45 minutes prior to the facility closing and that should be ok. It's unprofessional not to great people as they are walking in a business or medical facility for a service or medical care. It's horrible to mistreat people by turning off the lights while patients are still in the building. Patients will have questions and there isn't a hint of kindness. I have spoken to other patients and they feel the same. Hopefully they will right a complaint as well.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
