Sophia Hu's Online Review Report Card

Waited for almost an hour to see her. Once inside, was.made to wait another twenty minutes. The whole appt. consisted of her looking at the computer and confirm details from my GP. She also left to take a personal call. Had to wonder what was going on. No empathy. No interaction. Was the first and definitely the last time.

Had appointment for 2:00 pm. Assistant came to get me at 2:30. Sat in a room for another 30 minutes then transferred to another room with a computer set up for zoom. Mind you I had a IN PERSON APPOINTMENT. Doctor didn’t actually come on until 3:15. She then proceeded to take a call during appointment and then leave “ to tell the front desk something “ I didn’t leave my 2:00 pm appointment until 4:00pm. This was by far the worst doctor’s appointment I’ve ever had! Will never go back. I thought I was being punked!! On another note, when showing me a chart of different body parts to rate my hair level, she kept chuckling when it came to breasts and vagina questions. I thought I was dealing with a teenager! This can’t be for real!

Excellent physician with high standards. She clearly explained the nodules growing on my thyroid. Properly asked for an additional consult with thyroid surgeon whether a biopsy was needed. Reviewed my historical thyroid sonograms from Roosevelt Hospital in order to establish baseline.

Dr. Hu is a compassionate and expert doctor.

My appointment was at 2 pm but waited till 2:50 in waiting room. The secretary kept telling me Dr is with previous patient! Even after that the appointment was over zoom not in-person! which they DID NOT tell me! I got so frustrated and left the office, but still would like an answer... I made appointment a month in advance and they should respect people's time since Dr Hu is not the only one with job! I actually had to take time off from my job. Also, if you're gonna do over zoom appointment WHY dragging people to the office???!!!

I was hesitant to see Dr. Hu at first given the reviews I saw here. However, I am glad that I still pushed through with our appointment. She took the time to interview me and was very thorough in her advice and referrals. She was very friendly as well and took the time to answer questions.

Dr. Hu is very knowledgable and explained my condition in a way I could understand everything clearly. She is very thorough and takes her time to answer all questions, and makes the effort to call her patients also. I feel very comfortable and happy knowing she’s my doctor. I will definitely be going back to see her.

Told me I did not have the illness I was diagnosed with for years. Googled answers to my questions, was more than 1 hr late for "losing her wallet." Was unknowledgeable about her "expert area." It was a complete waste of money and time to see her.

She is confused, not prepared to see the patient. first time i went to see her she was almost an hour late to office. never responds to prescription calls. Never going back.
