Posting on behalf of a very grateful woman in Bardonia:I knew that my life was about to take a drastic change for the better, from the first day I contacted Francis, the owner of Sunshine Healthcare. I am a single, 49 year old woman, who has been battling complex health issues for over 15 years. Having moved back to Rockland County, alone and extremely ill, my needs seemed insurmountable. Struggling with years of chronic illness can result in friends and family leaving your life, out of frustration and fear. Being disabled and too young to qualify for help from the county or state, my needs fell thru the cracks. That first conversation with Sunshine, when I barely had the strength to ask for help, changed the course of the last two years of my life.Hearing the desperation and sickness in my voice, Sunshine sprung into action first, leaving the insurance bureaucracy for later. After contacting my physician, a nurse and aide were sent to my doorstep. I immediately received home treatments that saved me from weekly trips to the ER. I had someone to get me to my doctors, make sure there was food in my stomach and hope in my heart. I no longer felt alone and frightened for my life. With Sunshine's help, I got back the fight in my spirit that I needed to turn my health around. I became part of the Sunshine family, which was more valuable to me than words could ever express. Over a period of months, when insurance coverage was questionable, the owners of Sunshine tirelessly fought my company on a daily basis. They spent hours each day on my case and did not stop until finally coverage was reinstated. What an indescribable blessing in a world where time is money. I lay in a hospital bed, not knowing how I was going to exist at home, as they fought for me and won.The Sunshine team is truly concerned with the patients' welfare and and treat each patient individually. You can really be assured that you will get the best of care and respect from their staff.It is now two years later and I consider Sunshine to be a big part of my family. I still have the same wonderful, caring nurse checking on me and administering treatments as needed. It is because of their endless support that I have managed to stay out of the hospital as much as possible. I have not only thrived with their treatments and weekly monitoring, but I've also learned about the power of hope and humanity. I cannot say enough good things about this agency. Annie particularly has been amazing. She goes above and beyond to ensure that the recruitment process goes as smoothly as possible but not only that- she is consistently there everyday via text or in person to provide answers to your questions. I’ve had the best experience working with Sunshine and people like Annie definitely ensure the agency lives up to its name.

I am not going to lie in saying that the first aide they sent me was not the best. I was not too fond of her, but after talking with the office they had sent new aides, & hallelujah to that because thry have all been great. Appreciate the will to adapt/accommodations!!!!!

I totally love their services, their home health aided are awesome, their are always on time and very polite.my Aide went above and beyond to help my father, she would prepare food and leave everything ready for him she keep everything nice and clean in our house.Kathiana is awesome !!!!

So, about 2 years ago I began working with Sunshine Home Health Services at their newest location in NJ. I love working with everyone in every office from Management to Leadership team. Even more so I love working with my field staff. We strive to give our employees the best training possible and to provide superior service to all of our clients, and always adapt to each patients and their loved ones needs.

5 stars! 5 stars!!!! When I began this journey with the Sunshine people they worked with me like none other. The employees from the office, in particular the nurses and aides, arrived at our residence always on time and were very professional and courteous. I have to say that anytime I got a call from y'all, the person on the other side of the phone sounded very caring and sincere and it shows in how you have treated my family.

This place is the best! You won't find a more dedicated and compassionate care team anywhere in this area. If you or a loved one is considering home care services, I would 1000% recommended picking up the phone and dialing their number. Ask to speak to Beeju because she was my first point of contact.

Love the participants that we get to help and learn from. Watching them thrive and become independent is a beautiful process of hard work, faith and being good to yourself.
