No show for an interview and no call. After I approached them about the aide not showing I felt they were very defensive. First impression, irresponsible, unreliable and unprofessional. No thank you
Aides coming without their working agency ID. I’ve been through a lot through this agency so far and every one it’s been difficult understanding them. Personal calls throughout the day, sleeping on 8 hr shift, some come in now during COVID not wearing gloves.
Love the participants that we get to help and learn from. Watching them thrive and become independent is a beautiful process of hard work, faith and being good to yourself.
A+ all around. Hassle free through the whole process in getting my mother the care she needs.
Amazing services !!!
I totally love their services, their home health aided are awesome, their are always on time and very polite.my Aide went above and beyond to help my father, she would prepare food and leave everything ready for him she keep everything nice and clean in our house.Kathiana is awesome !!!!
Sadly first day of Homecare was fine, 2nd and 3rd day no show, no call, agency said they were working on it and now has been no follow up! I was counting on them for my mother who is bed bound while I go to work. Shame on them. This is not a business you can do that to people.
I cannot say enough good things about this agency. Annie particularly has been amazing. She goes above and beyond to ensure that the recruitment process goes as smoothly as possible but not only that- she is consistently there everyday via text or in person to provide answers to your questions. I’ve had the best experience working with Sunshine and people like Annie definitely ensure the agency lives up to its name.
So, about 2 years ago I began working with Sunshine Home Health Services at their newest location in NJ. I love working with everyone in every office from Management to Leadership team. Even more so I love working with my field staff. We strive to give our employees the best training possible and to provide superior service to all of our clients, and always adapt to each patients and their loved ones needs.
I am not going to lie in saying that the first aide they sent me was not the best. I was not too fond of her, but after talking with the office they had sent new aides, & hallelujah to that because thry have all been great. Appreciate the will to adapt/accommodations!!!!!
5 stars! 5 stars!!!! When I began this journey with the Sunshine people they worked with me like none other. The employees from the office, in particular the nurses and aides, arrived at our residence always on time and were very professional and courteous. I have to say that anytime I got a call from y'all, the person on the other side of the phone sounded very caring and sincere and it shows in how you have treated my family.
This place is the best! You won't find a more dedicated and compassionate care team anywhere in this area. If you or a loved one is considering home care services, I would 1000% recommended picking up the phone and dialing their number. Ask to speak to Beeju because she was my first point of contact.
This establishment has been a blessing to our family. They have worked to accommodate the needs of my ailing father. Everything has been taken care of in a professional, but personal manner from the aides arriving on time to bathing my father. The gracious help they have afforded our family have made the process run very smoothly. This office is highly focused on quality care and services, I can say that proudly. The owners are very approachable as well.
This Agency is very unperfesional, lack of direction in all departments, short of staff. If you love your loved one dont send them here.
absolutely horrible experience. They left my daughter with an aide who was unable to care for her.not enough staff, under trained and unskilled aides, who call out and don't show. katiana, and yamalie ("schedulers") are rude, uncompassionate liars.
At first when I took all of my belongings and moved up north to New York from Florida for work I really did not take a liking to it. I would have to move all the way up there with my mother, who has had problems doing daily tasks for about 5 years, to a place where I would have to experience 4 seasons. I have barely seen snow!!! I really thought southern hospitality was something in the past because I have heard of New Yorkers being very in your face and rude etc, but when I first spoke on the phone with Biju there was something different that I felt. She was very kind and compassionate (which is a good reflection of the company), she listened and understood what I was going through. My ingrained beliefs and stereotypes were not coming true. The homecare agencies in New York I had spoken to on the phone, which I am not going at this time, were pushing things down my throat and not asking the right questions. They would go off on a tangent, and it was as if they were robots on sales calls, strictly working to get a client without taking the necessary time to forge a friendship and a partnership because at the end of the day they would be the ones taking care of my world who is my mother and I would not want someone watching my mom if I did not trust/believe/like them. I came to the conclusion that if the spokespeople/administrators of the company are not nice then that is a reflection of a company that I would not like to do business with. While speaking to several of them it was apparent that they really did not care about the problems my family was having. Once Biju set me up with the necessary aides I have not looked back. The aides have been nothing less than a blessing for me. We all talk together, laugh together and best of all my mother truly enjoys their presence. I know that I can leave for work without a care in the world because I have an aide who is really looking out for the well-being of my mother. The aides have taken a burden off of my shoulders that I am very thankful for. At the end of the day, I really believed that southern hospitality was not going to be a thing in the north, but Sunshine has shown me that my previous beliefs are not true and that southern hospitality can be extended all the way up in New York through a home health care agency called Sunshine Homecare. To everyone looking for an all around great home care company, look no further because they are the best. :)
If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. Not only was my mother’s aide VERY INATTENTIVE to her needs, but she was CONSTANTLY on her phone. Neighbors told me they always heard her screaming outside on her phone and always saw her littering. She even left cheese in my mom’s car. CHEESE in the door. A complete slob. Her room was a pigsty. She ruined BRAND NEW furniture. We were asked to provide photos and an invoice for a refund but we never saw that. Very dishonest company. DO NOT trust these people with your loved ones.
I am very thankful for all that has been done in terms of taking care of my father. After trying to speak to several different agencies I felt that Sunshine was the one to go to and they have not let me down. Thank you ,again!
We had a wonderful experience with Sunshine. From the caregivers all the way up to the CEO, we found everyone helpful, thoughtful and accommodating. Our caregiver was amazing. She has done a great job in not only taking care of my family, but gave them a sense of friendship, affection and respect. We are beyond fortunate in being able to have a partnership with everyone at Sunshine.
Wish I could put more than five stars! I have been more than pleased with my experience with Sunshine Homecare. The aide for my grandmother is a perfect fit to her personality and lifestyle. I have also had great experiences with everyone in the office in all my interactions, whether it be in person or through the phone, because they respond promptly and efficiently to all my requests and are always very calm/cool and collected whenever I need something done.
