Excellent Doctor

On a first appointment I judge a doctor by two things, punctuality and staff. He made me wait over 2 hours to be seen for my appointment time, and while the staff was very friendly his treatment of them was incomprehensible. He can't keep a staff because of his attitude towards them, and i feel sorry for anyone who is desperate enough to get a job with him. I went into spasms while I was there and all he kept telling me during that time was that nothing was going to change because I was fat and put me on a seizure med to make me lose weight, even though I repeatedly told him I was on a diet and had lost 25 lbs already. He may be good at his job but his bedside manner and lack of respect for the patients who wait is not worth it when there are 100 more out there who manage their time 1000x better than he ever could.

Saw Dr. Kumar since 2010-2016. He diagnosed my Multiple Sclerosis & was my doctor for managing it. I have a complicated case with brain and spinal cord lesions. He told me many times I was depressed and said all people with debilitating illnesses have depression. He was right. He notices things that are not obvious and for me that can be embarrassing but great! Not many doctors pay that close attention!! The wait is long to see him. I spent 4 hours there once BUT he always does spend enough time throughout the appointment to make sure you receive proper treatment and understand. It is not an in-and-out visit but you/he WILL find out what is going on and get you well! Not a waste of my time to see a great Dr. Expect to hear the TRUTH..even if it is lose weight and quit smoking. He told me that over and over!! We all know he is right to say it. He's a professional Dr that didn't tip toe and baby me. He's upfront and honest. I appreciate that about Dr. Kumar! I have known him almost a decade since first visit..so I KNOW HE KNOWS what he is doing! He was always blunt but honest in also telling my husband what was going on with my symptoms, treatments, and care. Secondly, a couple years ago i sent my husband to him. He diagnosed his sleep apnea and took appropriate measures for him as well. I recommend him as a neurologist. When he began working in other areas for neurological conditions, he referred me to a specialist for MS. I appreciate all he did for me and will refer anyone to him. His office staff are not very professional a lot when I went, but they were kind and accommodating most of the time.

Dr. Kumar has help me tremendously with my chronic migraines for over 5 years. If you suffer with migraines, please go to him. I have referred Dr. Kumar to others that have not previously had success with treatment of migraines from doctors, and they got relief! I am very grateful to Dr. Kumar and his staff!

U have problems with the service dr Kumar offers. I called him 3 times in the day. He did not respond. I am confident his loyal staff gave him the message each time I called. Three hits later was in the emergency room and admitted to the hospital for a week. No return calls. No wellness calls. Im done

Having to wait to see him for over an hour one time and over 2 hours the second time is no way to run a practice. No apologies ever by the physician for the tardiness. He gave me a migraine due to missing a meal due to his epic lateness. The office needs a deep cleaning. The office staff is unprofessional. Pass.

Dr Kumar is a benchmark medical professional whose knowledge, skill and attitude has significantly enhansed my wife's health and well being. His staff is caring and adds a personal touch that is rare. Thank you.

I had problem with memory after head injury he helped me, I am doing online Cognitive therapy under supervision of Dr Kumar. I am able to work now. Life is changed after visiting Dr kumar.

I had gone to see for horrible headaches for 1.5 yrs after accident, my Car was total by the crazy girl on phone, He examined him and told me you have the memory loss with the brain injury and headaches are coming from bad neck spasm, My headaches got better in 2 weeks after medication, I am under brain training for my memory loss. I thank Dr Kumar and his passion for the research.

The girl that answers the phone is a real problem. This doctor helped me when no one else in this town could. He is very knowledgeable. He doesn't have any support staff to keep the office organized. And that is a shame. He Is a great doctor but his staff is going to kill his practice.
