Dr. Elrafei has been a Godsend. I saw a urologist thinking I had kidney stones but after a CT scan I was told i had a large tumor in my kidney. I was devastated and on top of it I was in extreme pain and urinating blood. My urologist said he couldn't prescribe anything for pain. I was suffering horribly and called Dr. Elrafei'svoffice. I can not give enough positive comments to this excellent doctor. What I originally believed to be kidney stones turned out to be cancer of the kidneys. I was in extreme pain and after seeing a urologist at first and then having the scans and being told I had cancer, i still needed more scans and unfortunately, you can not get these appointments soon enough. The urologist could not prescribe me pain meds and luckily I was referred to this heaven sent doctor. He saw me on the same day I called, squeezing me in at the very last moment. So kind. No one else was willing to do this and just expected me to wait a week while suffering with a huge tumor in me. I am so grateful for his calming bedside manner I have prayed to God after this appointment and thanked God for sending me to this fine doctor. He made me feel positive about my sickness and the way he would treat me. I did not have this kind compassionate treatment from any other doctors who I saw in regard to this illness. Lastly the office staff are fantastic and the office itself is beautiful.

Dr. Elrafei is fantastic. When you need to see an oncologist/hemotologist, you know that seomthing could be seriously wrong. You are in good hands with Dr. Elrafei. My family has a blood gene mutation and he is the doctor for all of us and he is always on call when ever we need him. Makes us glad we found the right doctor we can rely on and feel comfortable with.

I waited 4 hours in office the first visit cause the staff couldnt figure out how to call empire blue cross to find out if I needed a referral. 3 Patients went beofore me. I was there at 1:30 pm. had a 2 pm appointment,got out after 5p.m. On my next appointment it snowed so they cancelled and were to call me back. No one ever called.Inaddition my General Doctor setup an appointment for my first visit and they called and cancelled the first appointment cause whoever in the office setup the first appointment did it incorreclty. This is unbelieveable. Some professionalism is not the word here.
