List of Tejas Patel's Reviews
I was recommended to Dr Patel by my PCP. Dr Patel is very thorough, explains everything, answers all questions and is very patient. I recommend him highly.
If I could give no stars I would. I should have walked out upon my first consult but I didn't listen to my instincts. Dr. said hello & asked what I was here for, while explaining the problem areas he blasted me with some type of Ice cold spray to my chest & said” well you’re a good candidate for cancer” He gave me a once over and pushed off my concerns without taking swabs of skin to do a biopsy. ...
After being ignored by my former internist for years and misdiagnosed, Dr. Patel stepped in for his incompetent associate and saved my life. He is an excellent diagnostician and has a respectful bedside manner. He is also up to date on current trends but uses discretion when administering his treatments and advice. I find that Dr. Patel also listens to you, he considers everything you have to say and then makes his own diagnosis and opinion. I recommend him for his intelligence, compassion, and talent. I think he is a very good doctor.
Dr Patel is not only professional in his appearance but is very knowledgeable in his profession and I highly recommend Dr Patel to anyone who needs a dermatologist. He diagnosed my condition in first visit. All the great reviews about Dr. Patel are true.
Hands down best dermatologist in the Brooklyn/Staten Island area. Dr. Patel is the man, easy to talk to, funny and very helpful. I went to him to check on the status of my new tattoo due to redness. He gave me 2 creams to put on the tattoo and it healed up the redness from the tattoo within a couple of days. Leaving the tattoo looking just as great as when I got it. He is a great dermatologist and ...
If I could give this doctor 0 stars to starts I would. The most arrogant person I've ever Came cross.
Woah @ Marie freaking out below bc she can't handle her flu shot lol? Ummm it's a flu shot it doesn't matter who gives it to you it causes dead arm. Better to have the flu shot than get the flu? Not the doctor's fault...Dr. Patel is an AMAZING doctor for both nephrology and primary care. I consider myself extremely lucky to have found him. I have lupus so I am at a number of different specialists ALL OF THE TIME. (Think min. 5 doctors visits/month - I know bad doctors and good doctors!)Not only does he have an awesome bedside manner, and I mean like hangs on every single word you say and dissects/asks questions, but he's pretty funny if you're clever enough to catch it. I have brought him a list of problems and he actually takes time to listen and understand how I feel, and remembers me each visit down to what I was wearing! He also is WIDELY respected by the medical community, every single doctor/specialist I have seen outside of his practice literally goes "Woah.. that's your PCP?? He's REALLY good." I recommend Dr. Patel with absolute conviction as one of the BEST medical professionals I've ever had the pleasure to deal with and am so lucky to have him as my doctor! Very responsive via. MyChart. Also I am not being compensated for this review and noone told me to write this. I was looking up his phone number and saw bozo Marie's review and had to let everyone know who's looking him up how amazing he is. PS - Getting the flu shot helps with heard immunity so less people get the flu in general.. Bc I am immunocompromised, I am at a high risk for extreme complications from the flu but also am unable to get the flu shot. (yes I am in my 20s and the flu could be fatal!) Please get ur flu shot!
Very helpful and engaging. Took the time to understand my issue and helped me with my skin condition
Nice man. However he didn't bother to put a light to my face nor look at my skin. My insurance is paying an astronomical amount of money for what? Over all I left unsettled. Still no solution for my problematic skin. Smdh. It was a waste. We just simply had a conversation. Smdh. One assistant came in and she was very rude... She just walked in the door, didn't excuse herself and started adjusted the thermostat. Just poor manners. Off to the next doctor. Pffff. That's Staten island for ya!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
