Newyork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital's Online Review Report Card

This is the worst ER ever, everyone that has walk in after me of the white skin color has been treated, excuse me for being a little Raical, but the only color you will see the skin of color black.still waiting in the waiting area

My only issue is the billing department at Lawrence. Been trying to call for days and no one picks up the phone. I am currently on hold for 1hour and 37mins and still holding. This is insane.Update: Spoke with a very pleasant representative today and she helped me with my question.

This is the worst emergency room I visited . I went there with my 7 months daughter and we was waiting more than 5 hrs for the doctor to see her. I asked for the supervisor and no one respond .after thst I left the hospital since no one attended my daughter Smh. never going back to this emergency

Totally unreliable totally biased. Downright disrespectful. I would like to know how I was supposed to throw my partner back out in the car in the coldBecause of the no guests rule. Here’s the thing the lobby was open with family members and it’s not supposed to be like that. I ended up leaving and I’m going to an urgent care today. But when you misspell my name five times, tell me every excuse in the world, yet me being 1 of 2 white patients. Yet we both had to excuse our significant others. Totally biased prejudice and disrespectful. Totally unreliable if you can’t even tell me an estimate of how long it’s going to take while you’re too busy joking around with the security guard. Never returning and will dodge it like the plague. Also if masks are required at all times why were people removing them, and eating and drinking and multiple activities where they didn’t have masks on. I would’ve had more risk waiting in a triage without wait times that’s overcrowded then it would be for me to muscle through and go to a UC today.

The nurses are great, and it’s not their fault, but I’m only writing a review because we need to talk about the ER here. This hospital is in desperate need of change in structure, aesthetics, and care. I went last week and spent close to 5 hours seeing absolutely no one. They checked my vitals as soon as I walked in, which was great but now I have a bill in the mail for the worst experience ever. Others were there for hours, too - the waiting room was packed and the two tents outside. Some were too worried to go elsewhere because of personal/insurance charges, while others were lucky enough to leave. The department dealing with registration had to call patients from their cellphone to expedite the check-in process. Unfortunately, my mother is there right now, in so much pain, they checked her vitals, so she then has no choice to go elsewhere. She arrived at 8:30 AM and was told that there were people in front of her waiting to be seen since 4:00 AM. I feel bad for the staff here - these nurses need support!

Never, Never go to this hospital it's the worst hospital in the New York state,the service, the attention everything is bad there,they only want your health insurance they only worry about who's going to pay they don't care about the patients

Six hours and still waiting to be seen by a doctor….watched a woman struggle to get her son in with no help from the staff…either the staff is super lazy or that incompetent. Who is running the show????I went to another ER and was diagnosed with a bowel obstruction…I sat in LH with no pain meds or cohesive diagnostic plan all night. You can die of of a bowel obstruction as long as you are wearing a mask….

Seems like your treating Unvaccinated people like lepers. who pays you? is this hospital or employees getting money or bonus from vaccine makers to treat sick people who need help like dirt and discard. I thought doctors took oath.. now thats an oath to corporations against humans.. Nice
