Fake reviews not just here but on other sites Prescribed blood thinners on top of other medications that increase the risk of bleeding causing patient to have a brain hemmorage a month after being in the hospital for another hemmorage for the same blood thinner. Both the patient and his wife discussed their concern about going back on the medication after the initial bleed. Dr. Berger is an exceptional Cardiologist. He is a doctor with many years of experience, extremely knowledgeable, and outstanding bedside manner. He deeply cares about his patients and spends a significant amount of time with them during each visit. Highly recommended!!!
My visit was very successful. My issue was resolved and I had all my questions answered. Dr. Berger is clearly experienced and knowledgeable. I'm glad I chose him. I highly recommend.
Clean office and efficient staff
Dr. Berger extended himself beyond the call of duty , The medication he prescribed for cardiac related issues on June 14 2021 is reaping results already. Kudos to Dr. Berger for your invaluable help from a to z, You are a lifesaver most definitely!
Dr. Berger is a great doctor! He's very thorough and listens attentively. I had him as my Primary doctor and now my Cardiologist. Main thing is that I trust him and his staff is wonderful!
Caused my dad to die unnecessarily
Horrible physician.
My father was referred to this joke of a doctor by his primary. He put him on a blood thinner AND aspirin. He had a hemorrhage as a result. Got out of the hospital after about 4 or 5 days. Went to this JOKE since he had been taken off of the blood thinner. He told my dad to go back on this medication. Both my father and my mother expressed their concerns about going back on the same drugs that caused him to have a hemorrhage, and he scared him into going back on it. This guy SHOULD HAVE REVIEWED ALL THE MEDICINE HE WAS ON. HE SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO MY PARENTS CONCERNS. Instead, HE PUT HIM BACK ON THE SAME MEDICATION AND A WEEK LATER HAD A BRAIN HEMORRHAGE AND DIED BECAUSE OF THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE. DO NOT GO TO THIS JOKE. Do not let anyone you love go to this joke. His license should be revoked, where is the care, doctors are supposed to do no harm, but DR BERGER KILLED MY FATHER because he couldnt give their concerns any importance. I was referred to Dr Berger by my primary care physician due to my complaints of heart palpitations I was experiencing quite frequently during the past year... I found the office of Dr Berger very clean, pleasent and calming...Everyone was courteous and my wait time was lest than 10 minutes...After I answered medical questions to the doctor's assistant & the doctor, he took my blood pressure...He then asked me how did I get there, I responded "by Uber" he then said well, take the Uber straight to the ER at Mount Sinai hospital and tell them he sent me...my BP was at stroke level... As a result, I was admitted... during my stay at the hospital Dr Berger came to check on me several times and discussed with me what was going on with my BP/heart and what I need to do... I'm scheduled for a follow-up once discharged...thus far I am pleased with Dr Berger and I would recommend him... Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
