The office does not seem to care about Covid risk. Patients (this was my experience) wait needlessly and endlessly in small unventilated spaces for routine visits. Windows are closed, with no type of air filtration. The Dr. was apologetic but staff do not seem to care. AVOID THIS PLACE FOR THE DURATION OF THE PANDEMIC. IT IS NOT SAFE.
Dr. Freilich may be a competent dermatologist, but the conditions in that office are not Covid-compliant. As a patient, I waited nearly an hour, placed in a small no ventilation room, for a routine check-up. There is no air ventilation nor effort to even open windows on a warm day.. Although I asked-because of the pandemic--to have my appointment run speedily, no one attended to me despite the fact that Freilich admitted there were other doctors on duty. The staff did not seem to care about safety conditions in the office. I would never return to this office during the duration of this disease--or ever for that matter.
Dr. Freilich knows what he's doing. I have keloids. I went from doctor to doctor, and Dr. Freilich is the only doctor who knew how to treat my condition. I trust him. I recommend him.
Very unsatisfactory. Cold and aggressive bedside manner who failed to explain the full procedure and after effects.
Great director and supportive staff who provide premium healthcare
very rude and abrasive personality
I have never met such a disgusting staff and Doctor. This place is a waste of time. Don't even think twice. RUN AWAY. they just want money and don't care about patients.
Wow. I have never yelped, but it's been 3 weeks since I had the WORST appointment ever with a doctor and I feel I need to at least warn others. 45mn wait, then a filthy place (dusty/outdated), then I see a first person that takes my info (no eye contact/bad bedside manner start her, but don't end), then the doctor comes in and tells me "drop your pants" - I am a 35 year old female, my first language is not english, but I thought to myself, perhaps it's ok? Then he found a mole on my body and said biopsy - I checked with my insurance (which they did not like too much because it was making him late with his 3 rotating rooms of patients) and he proceeded without any numbing product to simply cut it off without a warning (though I signed up for biopsy, not complete removal). He then wanted to sell me 2 shampoo's filled with chemicals and overpriced. NO THANK YOU.
Though Dr. Freilich Has a good knowledge of dermatology you want to avoid using his services. The waiting room is always over-packed, in what looks like twenty-patients-per-hour schedule. The office is over-heated and the staff is overworked. Dr. Freilich himself is “procedure-hungry”. During my visit he planned to take ten biopsies from my back (“anything greater than a pencil’s eraser” he said) which I declined! During another visit his associate wanted to take a biopsy from my face, saying: “this has to come out”, which I also declined. I went for a “second opinion” with other dermatologist and was told that all these procedures were unnecessary.
I was very pleased after my visit today with Dr Freilich. I highly recomend this Dr.
I was having a skin issue for months and went to several dermatologist before seeing Dr. Freilich. Im very happy with the results and thats what is important to me. The wait is long and he not too friendly BUT he did help my situation. My observation of Dr. Freilich is that he there to help you and not make friends. So if you want a doctor that will be your friend he not that doctor, whoever if you want someone to cure your skin problem Dr Freilich is the person.
Caring & attentive Dr. & staff. Highly recommend!
I should have read all the comments before going there. My insurance has changed and my previous doctor doesn't accept my new insurance. Quentin Road staff is too much rude, i waited for two hours to see Dr. Abraham and when my turn came another doctor "Sarah" examine me although i made an appointment with Dr. Abraham. When i told the receptionist that i wanted to see Abraham not Sarah , she replied back to me in a very rude tone that if i wanted to see doctor then it has to be Dr. Sarah not Dr. Abraham. It was a huge mistake going there and i am not going back there.
It was a waste going there. Staff is too rude! and wont listen to you, they just want you to listen to them. When I called for the appointment they put me on hold for half hour and then gave me appointment after a month. I booked and appointment for Dr. Ibraham but when I went to there receptionist told me that he is over booked and can't see me so she is sending me to another Dr named Sarah. That was a surprised to me . It never happened to me before. When I refused to see her as my original appointment was with Ibraham, receptionist told me that she is giving me a choice as she wanted to help me, and if I don't want to see Sarah I won't be able to see Ibraham. The staff is not only rude but very unprofessional. Do not go there at any cost! worst doctor ever!!!!
I have been a patient of Dr. Freilich for several years. He came highly recommended and he has always been very professional. He recently treated my melanoma and I know I have received the best care possible.Patrick Rice
In 1989, my first visit with Dr. Freilich, his biopsy of a disorder in a location I could not see, turned out to be melanoma, in a treatable stage. This was shortly after changing to him from another local doctor who I felt never thoroughly checked my skin. Thanks to Dr. Freilich, I have been melanoma free (and alive) since then, with continued basal cell removal for the past 21 years.
I booked an appointment for an overall check up and to ask about a small growth on my face. Dr. Freilich was completely rude and nasty, barely explained to me what he thought it would be, rushed right into doing a biopsy and when I expressed fear and concern over it, he began shaking with rage and yelling at me that it was nothing and that I shouldn't worry. The next day, I removed the band aid and saw that he cut a very large hole right in the middle of my face that was much bigger than the tiny growth and which will certainly produce a large scar. This is one of the worst medical experiences of my whole life. I would never ever go back to this monster. STAY AWAY.
wait time is a huge issue...they do not take patients according to appointment...if it was not for my aunt I would have walked out... there are other big fish in the sea....
I had an absolutely terrible experience with Dr. Freilich. His staff is rude, they don't accept credit cards (so I had to pay an ATM fee, just to cover my copay), and when I finally saw the doctor he was incredibly insulting, telling me that I'm "a very pretty girl" (I'm in my thirties) and "will want to look as pretty in 10 years as I do now," so I should buy his brand of overpriced wrinkle cream (which had nothing to do with the reason for my visit). Just an absolutely horrible, very upsetting experience.
I made an appointment with Dr. Abraham Frelich, after waiting over an hour to see the doctor I was seen by a female Orthodox Jewish doctor. The doctor also had a girl with her observing the appointment which made me very uncomfortable but felt as if I weren't given a choice. When I went to pay my co-pay I was told they didn't accept credit cards and was directed to an ATM around the corner. When I return with $20 the staff did not have $5 in change and I left with the office owing me several dollars. I recently received a bill for this doctor when he is the one that owes me. I would never consider going back to this doctor again.
