Aham Onyike's Online Review Report Card

My visit (3/17/23) Time: 10:50 a.m. My visit was traumatic I was called (crazy) by Dr. O. Dr. O stated I am a surgeon. I asked did I waste my time coming here? And he said "actually, yes" I can t help you go back to your PA . Even though the appointment was made in advance from a referral in system no one knew why I was there. Again I repeated I fell bruised both knees, shoulder, chin and cut my thumb . All the records from Medstar Urgent care treatment I received was in the records which didn't appear they read. I am a elder and Dr. O treated me terribly. I left the office trembling, heart racing and barely made it home safely. If this is an indication of how seniors are treated in the medical community take care of yourself.

I am a first time client and I like that Dr. Onyike listened to my presenting complaints and was very professional in explaining his proposed course of action and possible diagnosis.

Just had total knee replacement on my right knee yesterday. I type this from my hospital chair. Dr Onyike is the very best of the best. I’ve been dealing with many orthopedist in this area for years and I would only recommend Dr. Onyike. My husband had his knee replace by Dr Onyike a couple years ago and it was a perfect experience. We both respect his great bedside manner, his intelligence and his way of sharing his knowledge with his patient. I have barely any pain since getting out of surgery. Dr Onyike makes sure everything you need to make you comfortable before and after surgery. Dr. Onyike - #1 Orthopedic doctor in my book and highly recommended

I have seen Dr O twice now and am very pleased. As a doctor myself I can say I find his exams more complete than other orthopedists I have seen-when I got to see them at all as often it was their PA. His discussion of the problem and plans are complete and well explained. The office staff is good as well and getting an appointment has been quick and convenient. I highly recommend him

Dr. Onyike looked at my xrays that I brough to him and he know right away what my problem was. He gave me meds. that have helped the pain greatly.

Dr. Onyike really helped me when I needed a knee replacement do over as I called it. My knee was in really bad shape after I fell and broke a few things. He had a plan right away on how to fix it. I was so mad at myself for causing the problem. I just wanted to cuss. He was so calm and that smile of his is enough to make me feel better. I tell everyone I know that if you need a knee replaced, go see Dr. Onyike. I saw him as a follow up last week, and everything is looking good. He told me that I can come see him as needed. So I said if I mess up another body part, I will be back. The staff there also are wonderful. Thank you Dr. Onyike

Dr. Onyike answered all of my questions and gave good advice to help with recovery and physical therapy.

Dr, Onyike saw both my husband and myself on different appointments. He asked us to tell him what our problem was, He gave use plenty of time to voice our concerns and asked clarifying questions. He checked our x-rays and other tests. Then discussed with us various treatments for our problems. He guided use in making the decisions of our treatment. We were very pleased with him and felt we were in good hands.

Dr. Onyike is terrific. He spent a lot of time with me explaining my issue and the solution. He was very kind, caring, and never once made me feel like I was being rushed. I feel very fortunate to have found such a wonderful orthopedic.
