Alan Dosik's Online Review Report Card

I can't begin to explain how down to earth and bedside manner is unlike any other. Dr Alan Dosik takes every step and measure to explain every detail and treatments that are available. I was diagnosed in early February 2021 with Breast Cancer Stage 2. I was referred to him from my gynecologist. After meeting with him my first consultation I knew I was in good hands for my care. I put all my trust in him to guide me through my chemo treatments and my radiation. Each visit he has me feel like I have known him my whole life. I would refer him to anyone who is going through cancer treatment and is not sure where to turn. His staff is very accommodating as far as appointments and answering all my questions regarding care. As scary as cancer is....Dr Alan Dosik has made me feel I can and will get through this and that I am never alone!!! I give him 12 stars and would recommend him to anyone looking for an oncologist who really takes the time to care during treatment.

I recently relocated here and have spent basically all of my free time meeting new doctors and getting tests done. I was exhausted and frustrated when I got into the office and even more upset when they insisted on blood work and couldn’t find a veins (I’m a very very difficult stick) he came in and addressed how noticeably upset i was and made the appointment pleasant. Explained everything and made sure I understood. Super friendly and knowledgeable plus helped refer me to good primary close by that would take my insurance

Office staff is very unprofessional. I recently suffered a heart attack due to a blood clot blocking one of my arteries. I was given a referral from my PCP to Dosik Hematology and was advised to book an appointment asap to determine the chances of another clot forming. When I called the Dosik office the first time, I was told to call back because they were busy. When I called a second time on a different day, I was put on hold for nearly 10 minutes just for the same woman to come back and say "How can I help you?" a second time after I already explained that "Im trying to book an appointment" before she placed me on hold. When I repeated "Im trying to book an appointment" she then hung up on me. I immediately called back a third time and she picked up the phone and immediately hung it back up again. When I immediately called back a fourth time "I was told that the booking staff had left for the day." They close at 5PM and I called between 4:30-4:45.

very hard to get in touch w MD, does not respond to mutiple phone calls from the patient/care giver.

Dr. Alan Dosik and staff are professional and sociable great people. They show concern and interest and make you want to fight your problem. Doctor and staff are wonderful people.

Dr.Dosik took care of my sister Dorothy and treated her really great. Had patients with her when she sometimes came in anger she would always leave his office smiling. His bedside manor was great made her feel special. We as her family Thank him for making her feel special when she went to see him. I would definitely recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

This is one of the most disorganized and blatantly rude doctors officials I’ve ever visited. I’ve been a patron here for over a year and have never waiting under and hour and fifteen minutes past my appointment time to get an infusion or see my doctor. The women at the front are incompetent and rude and won’t tell you if your insurance is covered until you’ve waited an hour for your appointment. Go anwhere else y

Dr. Alan is the best. He is considerate of your emotional state given the circumstance of your visit. He truly cares about you. He is down to earth and you feel comfortable talking to him. I trust and respect his opinion and recommendations. He is the BEST !

I could not imagine being in the care of a more competent, caring and diligent doctor. He has made sure that I was apprised of all treatment options available tome in fighting my multiple myeloma, as well as helping me obtain the drugs most appropriate for my complicated case (those drugs were way beyond what I could afford and insurance?????hah). Finding Dr Dosik was one of the best things I could have hoped for in these circumstances.

First visit. Efficient staff. Dr. Was pleasant, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Very patient with questions asked and explained things in easy to understand terms. Very pleased with this experience.
