List of Alexander Aizman Md's Reviews
When I went to the eye doctor a few months ago, I was told that I might have a torn retina...YIKES. My doctor said that it appeared to me small but wanted me to go to Dr. Aizman to see if I needed surgery. I was really hoping that I didn't need surgery. Anyway, I made my appointment and when I got there, I checked in with the staff. They were very pleasant and very professional. I had my eyes dilated and waited for it to take effect. Once I met with Dr. Aizman, he asked me if I saw floaties, which I answered, "no." He then took a look and actually said that it wasn't torn and I don't need surgery. Thank goodness. He did suggest that I make an appointment to follow up in six months (which I did). Even though my encounter was short, I definitely felt comfortable and at ease.
I would never recommend Dr. Alexander Aizman to anyone. The staff at his office is unprofessional, rude, and lazy. I never got to even see the doctor, I waited 2 weeks for an appointment, after working with his office for weeks sending medical release forms and calling they waited until the day before my appointment (after I took the day off of work) to tell me it was never done and to do it myself (why didn't they tell me this on my first phone call) I canceled my appointment because she was so rude and nasty I didn't want to even deal with these people. I am so glad I found this out before I started seeing Dr. Alexander Aizman. I found another retina specialist that I am very happy with. I suggest you do the same don't waste your time as I did.
Dr. Aizman is an outstanding Ophthalmologist. He makes sure that his patients are well taken care of, by being attentive to their needs. The staff is friendly and professional. I would highly recommend his services.
This doctor was slow as can be. We waited 2 hours to see this doctor. I complained to him on the way out. He says he takes so long because he does such a wonderful job. I told him he shows no respect for his patient' time. I would like to tell him a lot more. Two hours to see an optimologist is rude and unprofessional. Tell his future patients to Believe That
Horrible Experiance
I'm new to the area, 68 years old, had already been diagnosed with macular degeneration. I found Dr. Aizman on-line, was impressed with his excellent training and qualifications, and made an appointment. I couldn't be happier with Dr. Aizman; he was gracious, open and helpful. He took the time to get to know me, answered all my questions, and gave me a much better sense of where my condition stands and my prognosis than my previous ophthalmologist.
I'm new to the area, 68 years old, had already been diagnosed with macular degeneration. I found Dr. Aizman on-line, was impressed with his excellent training and qualifications, so made an appointment. I had a rather unpleasant experience with my ophthalmologist, who was cold and uncommunicative. Couldn't be happier with Dr. Aizman, who was gracious, open and helpful. He answered all my questions, asked a number himself that the other fellow hadn't, and gave me a much better sense of where my condition stands, what the prognosis is, and what to watch for. Highly recommend him. Nice staff, nice facility, as well.
in simple words this man has done wonders for me and my wife he will tell it as it is no sugar coating
I have been at patient of Dr Alexander Aiezman for almost 10 years now. I came to him in the state of emergency. I was lucky enough to be referred to Dr. Aizman. He's extremely knowledgeable and understands how scary it could be to not know what's wrong. I had severe sensitivity to light and throbbing pain in my eye. Initially, I was told it was nothing and it will pass. Dr. Aizman said it could be an inflammatory disease and could worsen if ignored. Dr. Aizman insisted I find a new primary care doctor that was willing to request a CT Scan and a breathing test. Turns out my eye is a symptom of something much worst. However, with consisting treatment and follow-ups, my vision returned to 20/20 and the inflammation as well as the sensitivity was gone! I will continue to visit Dr. Aizman for my annual eye exams. I know that I am in good hands. And should my inflammation return, I know where to go!Lastly, front desk/office staff and their customer service plays a big part in whether or not I will return to the office. Well, everyone should know that the office staff is extremely professional. They welcome you with a smile and acknowledge your presence by greeting you by name. I appreciate that. There is a bit of a wait, but that's because he is a phenomenal Ophthalmologist.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
