Waited over an hour. Absolute disregard for patience time.
Unbelievably bad service on front desk. They don't help registration for new patients, just make more complicated and problems from nothing. But this office not first and last in NYC.. Thank you for nothing.
Dr. Lipyansky should not be a forward-facing in medical provider. After a MedTech carefully and thoroughly gathered all of the pertinent medical history questions, Dr. Lipyansky hastily arrived, asking three questions, and in a matter of three total minutes concluded that he would not be able to examine me because “it was Friday” and my current “insurance does not make [me] a priority”. He then added, as he was walking out, that he would test my sample for cancer and possibly see me when his calendar would allow. He then pointed me to sit and have my blood and urine taken, but I had already performed those, so interest was solely on billing and not my bill of health. His unprofessionalism and lack of care left me in tears and filled with fear. His uncouth bedside manner unhinged my comfort and dismantled my hope in medical leaders. Given that he took an oath to provide healthcare, I am mortified by my experience with Dr. Lipyanski and terribly concerned because other reviews echo this.

Prescribes antibiotics without any lab tests! Just so you know, some antibiotics are less or not effective for certain infections, you have to 1) know what infection/infections patient has 2) how much sensitive this particular infection to this antibiotic. He doesn't bother.
I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Lipyansky when he worked at the Mount Sinai Clinic in Brooklyn Heights. I called today and learned he is no longer working there and thought this would be a great time to give him the review he deserves. Dr. Lipayansky is very professional and thorough. I felt comfortable explaining my symptoms and he always took the time to listen. He also performed a procedure and I was very pleased with his bedside manners, and follow-up Dr. Lipayansky is one of the best doctors I have ever encountered! Thanks Dr. Lipyansky
Not enough words to describe the horror that was my husband's meeting with Dr. Lipyansky. In the 5 mins of meeting, he checked my husband (29 yo) and told him: "you have cancer. I don't have time now, so contact an oncologist next week". and then - left the room, both of us standing in shock. The Doctor was gone to his next appointment. We switched and found great care at Memorial Sloan, but I had to come back and leave this warning. Will never forget the medical risk and trauma he left us with.
When I went to the exam room to see this Dr., he quickly asked me what was wrong and when I told him, he examined me very briefly and told me I was fine and then he prescribed Flomax and told me to get a Sonogram. He walked out of the office in less than two minutes. I started asking him follow up questions for clarification which seemed awkward because he was already half way out the door. He proceeded to answer them as he kept walking out the door. I found this to be very unprofessional. Oh and btw, I never got the results from my sonogram and it has been about two months. He said that I would be notified if there was a problem but shouldn't a patient have the right to know definitively?
Dr. Lipyansky seems very busy. My three appointments to date we're not satisfactory. Probably he is great and effective if you have a common condition. I have a rare condition and he keeps forgetting and doesn't check his files before he talks to me (he does it as we speak). This results in confusing conversations where I have to correct and check his next steps. He ordered a wrong sample test and when confronted tried to cover it up. I'm not going back.
Dr. Lipyansky's one-on-one consultation with me was notably incomplete, leading to wasted time and money plus frustration. Lastly, he made it very clear that he was more concerned with his own needs rather than mine. I'm disappointed and unimpressed with this doctor. Also, his staff at the Brooklyn Heights office was poorly organized.
