Dr Winker is friendly and sensitive with an astute mind to rapidly evaluate key factors of a patient’s condition. I was received early for the appointment, had a very careful exam, was advised about next steps in quick order, and was totally pleased with Dr Winkler’s professionalism, as well as the competence of the Weill Cornell staff. Kudos to the entire team.

Dr. Winkler is very knowledgable and to the point.- the visit was brief but all questions and concerns were addressed. The wait time was exceptionally brief, which is a good thing too.

This was my first visit. My prior urologist moved to another state. I liked Dr. Winkler very much. He understood my concerns and followed through.

Staff was friendly, and mindful of my request to be told if the doctor was running late. Nurse taking my vitals was great. Dr. Winkler was warm, responsive, and made sure I was well-informed of my situation. An MRI appointment was needed, and was kept there until the staff made sure the appointment was made and approved by my insurance.

Dr. Winkler listened to my issue, was patient & when there was an problem with a prescription his office solved the problem.

My bloodwork came back showing an elevated PSA level. I was concerned and didn’t know what the next steps would be. Dr Winkler was informative and set me on the proper path. Just what I wanted.

My most recent visit was a followup to a TURP procedure Dr. Winkler performed a little over a month before. The results were “really good” in his words and I agree. I suffered from urinary retention and had been using intermittent catheters 3-5x per day for months since another urologist’s diagnosis and I had developed anxiety and depression as a result. After two visits with Dr. Winkler at a friend’s recommendation, he concluded that a bipolar TURP would be worth doing despite concerns over a potentially underactive bladder. The surgery was a success. The recovery period was short; I played golf 2 weeks after. A voiding test at my followup showed residual volume was low and I was able to stop using catheters entirely. The physical and emotional relief was palpable. Dr. Winkler is always engaging and explains all aspects of your condition and treatment extremely well. I could not recommend him more highly.

I recently saw Dr. Winkler for the first time since my previous urologist left the practice. I was overly impressed by Dr. Winkler's professionalism, manner, and depth of knowledge. He took the time to listen and was honest and open about discussing future steps to be taken. I would recommend him without any hesitancy.
