Dr. Anders Cohen.... I just wanted to tell you, because wife calls in a miracle, that you basically saved me my life and gave me the lifestyle and the ability to do what I'm doing with my fitness club, tennis career, and providing for aiding me in providing a better future for my children when you fixed my L4/L5 in 2013. That previously botched surgery from another surgeon in 2008--since it was bone on bone, and I felt no pain--gave no indication to anybody as to why all my blood work numbers were thrown into the cellar..... thyroid, testosterone, skyrocketing Epstein-Barr numbers, high blood pressure, and higher A1c, forcing me to take Metformin and then, to compensate with TRT, HGH, and blood pressure, anti-viral, and thyroid medication, complicating everything regarding my health. You performed a miracle in 2013 from my family's point of view, when I wanted to jump off the Manhattan Bridge daily, 10 times a day after being bedridden for almost four years. Your recently performed procedures in June 2021 to fuse my L5/S1 and in February to fuse my L2/L3/L4, have made me pain free for the first time since I was ten years old, almost 55 years ago! Thank you for giving me my life back and for allowing me to do anything and everything that I wish!

First of all I would like to say thank you to God and Dr. Cohen he saved my life along with Jesus he’s a great doctor with a have a great sense of humor and an excellent bedside manor.His work speaks for himself I am not only balanced my gate is back to normal and I feel fabulous. Word of advice anytime you have to post on a big billboard about what your practices that means that you might not be that good at it lol little birdie told me that. Thank you Dr. Cohen for doing such a great job on my back. I feel after one week in a half out of surgery about 75% back to myself.You mastered your craft you are a true blessing in my life thank you God for the miracle. As for the staff, the staff was fabulous you always gonna have one that you’re not gonna really get along with but you’re not really there to get along with anyone you’re there to heal yourself and that’s exactly what I did my blood pressure went down I don’t even feel like I need to take blood pressure pills anymore that’s how impressed I felt in the hospital. That hospital’s name was Hudson regional hospital Secaucus New Jersey. Anyone who gets the chance to meet Dr. Cohen we’ll see that he’s a genuine person and that he means well and he’s a master at his craft.Enclosing thank you again Dr. Cohen amen😃

Dr. Cohen is absolutely the best in his field. If anyone needs surgery for their neuro or spinal condition they would be foolish not to consult with Dr. Cohen first. He is caring, understanding, and has the surgical skills to accomplish even the most difficult surgeries. Besides those qualities he is innovative which separates him from the vast field of neurosurgeons.

I had developed debilitating sciatica, lower back...with pain in back and legs, down to my feet. I tried pain management, meds and injections. After awhile nothing worked anymore, and I could not stand, walk or even sit for more than a few seconds at a time. Surgery was the only option left. Dr. Cohen and his team at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, scheduled my surgery, and educated me about my condition, and what they were going to do. They were true to their word, and within a few days I could actually sit and stand without excruciating pain. Just had my 3 month follow up appointment, and I am doing great. Walking without a cane for the first time in 20 years! Dr. Anders Cohen and the neurosurgery team at TBHC gave me back a quality of life that I thought was gone forever! I am so thankful...they are the best!

Hello my name is Claressa Arce.A close friend of mine name Evelyn Rivera had spinal issues which lowered the quality of her life. She was unable to travel any where far or to even visit grandchildren who reside in another state. All this lead to her developing depression. Dr.Andres Cohen changed all that for her. If it wasn't for him and his skilled staff who knows how bad of a condition could have developed mentally and physical. I thank him and his staff from the bottom of my heart.

Dr. Cohen along with his PA's gave me a new meaning of life. Although after two spinal fusions I'm still in recovery I see the light at the end of this nightmare of pain. The office staff are simply the best. Without the them I would of never gotten through the paperwork with my job or social security processing. Everyone associated with Dr. Cohen deserves praise and I'm shouting it to the heaven above.

Hi my name is Cindy Gold,I had a very bad problem with my spine causing my left leg nothing but burning & throbing pain non stop. It got so bad I went to Orthopedic Doctors whio specialized in spines, I did therapy, pain management, 3 epidoral shots and still nothing worked, the doctors told me that I would need an operation and I would have to get Rods, Bolts, Screws, Metal Plates and what ever else was needed. I did not feel comfortable with what they told me, I was feightened. I called up Dr. Cohen's office for a second opinion and spoke to Myra, she gave me an appiontment right away, When I went to the office I was greeted by two of the doctor's assistance Myra & Jessica, they were so friendly and pleasant, such a warm office. I saw his assistance first and showed him my MRI , he did not like what he saw so he showed it to Dr. Andres Cohen, we had a very nice talk & he told me what he can do and what was going to be put into my spine. He put in Joint Lifts, Screws, Rods, nothing what the other doctor was going to do. I felt so comfortable and at easy with him that I had him do the surgery. I had it done on March 1st 2016 & now I am able to do anything I want, no more suffering . I am so greatful for Dr. Andres Cohen and his staff and asistance, I did not know where else to turn. On January 2017 I had Fusion Surgery with the best Dr Anders Cohen. At one point in my life I thought I wasn't able to walk again. Dr cohen gave me Independence again. His staff are extremely amazing, I thank you Dr cohen and staff for helping me. I felt like family in your hands. #OnMyFeetAgain ... State The Facts Before Posting False Statements.

I would highly recommend this office!!Dr.Cohen diagnosed and saved my daughter ten years ago!!His staff are caring and understanding.We just had another scare and his office got us right in and Dr.Cohen went above and beyond to take care of my daughter to reassure us that everything was fine!!!If you want a doctor who really cares about his patients Dr.Cohen is your man!!!
