I was a First Responder on 9/11 and diagnosed with lung cancer in 2013 I was referred to Dr Reyes for consultation. Needless to say i was deeply taken back by my diagnosis Upon meeting with Dr Reyes I knew I was in good hands. He was extremely kind and considerate. He made me feel I was more than just another patient. He explained options and is extremely knowledgeable. A Brilliant doctor who is truly gifted. DR. REYES PERFORMED LUNG CANCER SURGERY ON ME, A 78 YR. OLD WOMAN, IN 2010, TODAYALMOST 2 YRS. LATER MY RECENT PET SCAN SHOWED NORMAL RESULTS. HE IS THE DOCTOR TO SEE FOR THIS PROBLEM. I LOVE HIM.

Dr. Reyes operated on me for lung nodules and diagnosed stage iv lung cancer. He rudely refused to answer my questions following surgery telling me he had already spoken to my husband! Later in a follow up visit he recommended immediate chemo and painted a very bleak picture of my prognosis, even seemed to tear up a little. After a 2nd opinion at a major cancer center I have been reevaluated as Stage I and without any chemo am still doing great 2 1/2 years later. This is just the highlights of my nightmare experience with this doctor & his staff. Please do your research and find a doctor who is knowledgeable, aware of new studies in his field and with a more caring and positive attitude.
