I don't know where to start. Dr. Berhane M Worku is a Master at his craft. It is not a job for him but he loves and respect his craft and high skill set. I had the pleasure to first meet him after my dad was unable to get a stent In his heart and was told he needed a triple bypass/cabbage. God, Dr. Worku and his skilled team of doctors worked for what seemed to be an entire day but about 5hrs, and performed a delicate and life saving surgery to save my dads life. He comes out at the end and let's you know what exactly happened to your loved one. But before this the board in the hospital keep the families abreast and updated which takes some stress off the wait. Dr. Worku comes every day to check in on his patients and he is direct, compassionate and thoroughly about what will happen. He explains your procedure that anyone can understand. He cares for his patients as if it was his own family. My dad came out and everything was well. One day my dad was home resting and we realized that his speech was slurred and face started dropping. I called Dr. Worku immediately and he talked my stubborn dad to go to emergency room because Methodist has an excellent Stroke team in Brooklyn. As the dr recommended, we went and the TPA was applied and dad was back on track once again. Most Doctors are unreachable but Dr Worku is not and he was off at home with his family when I called him. Dr. Berhane M. Worku is a A++++ Surgeon.
