Dmitry Khasak Md's Online Review Report Card

I give it two stars because... I was considering to try this place out due to an urgent matter where I have this weird rash on my hands that crawl almost to my elbows as of Wednesday 8/11/2021. So I went online to request for an appointment for Friday, August 13,2021 as of yesterday [Wednesday, August 11,2021]. A woman called me and left me a voicemail stating I can go in For the date I was requesting an appointment as a walk-in between 11am - 3pm. I called back immediately... a man picked up the phone. He asked for my info I informed him I would be a "new patient". He tells me that due to being a new patient I won't be seen till next week but I can go in for a walk-in on Friday 8/13/2021 to fill out paperwork or fill them out virtually by them sending it to me via email, the reason I would have to be seen next week is due to no one being in office to create my file. The woman left me a voicemail today 8/12/2021 at 5:46pm and I called back at 5:49pm. I informed him that it is a problem due to the fact that I'm on vacation & Friday 8/13/2021 will be my last day so I'm trying to take advantage. He tried to convince me, I had cut him off and told him "uh okay, thank you anyway" and hung up. That did not make any sense to me at all. So I would be going as a walk-in to fill out paperwork only & not be seen, spending money on transportation from Brooklyn to Manhattan?! I felt like he didn't know what he was saying and he was just lazy. I went online and sent them an email explaining what happened and stating it should not be "walk-in" or "self-scheduling appointment requesting" if that's the case. I got a callback, Maria left me a voicemail today 8/12/2021 at 7:43pm stating that she spoke to the doctor and the doctor said I can go in tomorrow Friday 8/13/2021 any hours between 11am - 3pm. But I don't know at this point. I'm very hesitant. Even though I have the voicemails to back me up in case I go and things don't go right. But it's like would it be worth it to spend money traveling when it's not even guaranteed. I didn't want to give a bad review... I blame the man who answered the call when I called back for not having his things together, not making any sense (wish I had recorded the conversation). And I come on here & I see that this place has barely 2 stars of Review. More reasons to make me hesitant. The only good thing is that the two women were professional and contacted me the very next business day and a few hours later when I had made the report.

I have nothing but great and wonderful things to say about Dr. Khasak and staff in general. You guys were the only ones to find the cause of my symptoms and treat them successfully. I have gone to different primary doctors and specialists but I always come back. Your customer service, knowledge, eagerness to understand what others don't care to is unparalleled. I always recommend your clinic and always will.

His reviews everywhere are at least 1 year old hence why mine is a must read. I saw him at a Century Medical location. I had a 12:30 appointment that I ran late to- only to learn he wasn't even there yet. I wasn't seen until after 2 in which he was unprofessional. I never met him before yet he walked in without introducing himself and asked me what's the problem in a tone so condescending. I explained my reason was a general screening and cited two concerns. He did not look at me other than a glance and wrote three prescriptions. Here's where it gets good. His assistant? The PA? Whatever she is - in front of me takes out her phone to take pictures of the prescriptions and sends them to someone using WhatsApp. (Will be filing a complaint) Then he hands me a card saying to contact this place for them. When I asked FOR my prescriptions itself and it to be sent to my local pharmacy then I was told it can't be done because "they won't have it". I wasn't even told what was being prescribed. I eventually got that a copy thanks to the lovely front desk and consulted with a doctor who said what was prescribed was for moderate to severe treatment of what this man claimed is the cause. How can you prescribe severe meds and you didn't even examine me? Appointment was rushed and bedside manner was a complete ZERO stars. After this I saw his old dated reviews that say the same- he clearly hasn't learned. Avoid avoid avoid.

Came in to look at something on my face. Dmitry khasak MD denied me medical attention khowing i had a infection on my face because i didnt want to do unnecessary test that he claimed was for cancer. i didnt wanna do it because i wanted a plastic surgeon to do it not him. Because it would leave scars. i only came there for a referral from my doctor to remove a cyst from my face not to test me for cancer. i will report him for over billing me for services i did not want. This guy is doing pure insurance fraud. and he put my life in danger when he denied me services for which i came in for because i didnt want to do a cancer test that involved cutting piece of my skin off. and he was wrong i dont have cancer this he just trying to over bill customers and then punish them if you dont accept the over billing of tests. The rudest worst doctor in the world. don't go here if wanna be insulted. He insulted me said I am wuss. and only god can change me. Totally unprofessional. Stay away. arrogant unprofessional. He should lose his license because he didn't even give me antibiotics for my infection before I left . I could've died.had to go to hospital after. And he misdiagnosed me. Worst Doctor. Don't go to Dmitry khasak MD. Find another dermatologist.

Location in Brooklyn scheduling 4 patients for the same time. You need to wait for 3-4 hours!!!

Dmitry has the worst bedside manner of any doctor I have ever met !RUDE ,NASTY ,UNPLEASANT and UNPROFESSIONAL!!! He don't respect patients !!

this guy is a piece of crap. Don't ever go to him. He is lacking social skills and is horrible at his job. He should have his license removed for being so rude, unprofessional, and potentially racist.

Great doctor,I felt so comfortable,caring well of each his patience,I was waiting at lease may be 15 minutes,something like that,but not as most people said,I'm really so glad that came to Dr.Khasak,And I recommend him to every one,he is very good,very knowledgeable,he did everything so gently,without any rush,listen all my questions to the end,took care of me so well,even so before when I came,I was little nervous,because the first time,but he already was at work place very on time.So He is great Russian Doctor in white robe.I'm really glad for begging,and I will be back to return him.
