List of Dosik Hematology And Oncology's Reviews
Dr. Dosik treated my mother Rosemarie Blacknik long ago with a rare leukemia. He kept her alive for 7 years, using leaving us at 59 years of age. She was able to know I was pregnant with her first grand baby
Great doctors, very professional and fast. Thank you
Worst attitudes and unaccommodating medical facility I have ever visited. Find somewhere else to be treated.
I've be been a patient at this office for more than 14 years. They are the kindest people and wonderfully good doctors. Dr. Dosik saved my life. He is a blessing. They weathered the onslaught of COVID without changing the quality of care or the very necessary attention to patients quality of life. I can't imagine finding a better place to go for treatment.
I am a patient at Dosik Hematology & Oncology. Dr. Alan Dosik is an intelligent and caring doctor. His main goal is getting you well again. Explaining all of the steps you will be taking, the ups and the downs, leaving nothing unanswered. He does his best in giving you the will to move forward with staying positive. At times it can be rough, but you have the best care here. His medical staff are diligent, caring, hard working individuals with one thought in mind, making you well again. I am so thankful my surgeon referred me to Dr. Dosik and his staff. My gratitude to them is endless. Debra Divino
This black receptionist is seriously out of touch with reality. You need to allow people to speak. Not only did you guys call a new patient with an unknown phone number, when I relayed that feedback the receptionist was very cold and had a nonchalant attitude towards the manner. Then she keeps asking me questions and cutting me off every 5 seconds saying “ ma’am, that’s not what I asked you” are you serious. Then I ask for respect and for her not to cut me off profusely and she denies that she’s doing such a thing while repeatedly talking over me. I was trying to explain my situation and she just didn’t care. Move on to a new profession, today. I don’t even want to go into my appointment any longer. Update: I expressed my frustrations about the receptionist and I hope that future appointments will be more precised and focused. My opinion still stands. She was very rude but I did have some progress today in regards to my health and feel that I’m on the right path so I’m hopeful ☺️. Some people are hurting and struggling and I understand that. But still be mindful of your words because they can really hurt someone. As a minority I think we all should be more sensitive especially being that women of color face harsher realities when it comes to health. As someone who works in the medical field why would this receptionist ( she’s not alone) be rude. You can turn people away super quickly because of your decision making and really hurt someone from finding clarity towards health related issues.
Professional, clear with giving info. Knowledgeable, straight forward good bedside manner. 25 yr cancer survivor. Plus other health issues, he's kept me alive. Father, brother all I'm the same profession.
If you like waiting over an hour for a doctor to spend a perfunctory 5 minutes with you, this is the place!
Not sure the name of the doctor who presided over my stepdad a week ago but the situation was just sad. My 75 year stepdad went in for a spinal biopsy. His appointment was set for 8am which he was early for. He was not seen by the doctor until 10 am and was told by the receptionist that someone else took his room which is why there was a delay (how is this possible). When they finally called him in to perform the procedure on him, they asked my mom to leave the room. They proceded to perform the spinal biopsy on this man who was already in pain with literally no Anasthesia, no numbing agent... nothing! Didn't even ask if he needed it. They then left him in the room alone for 10 mins then told him he was free to go. How is this right? How is this even allowed to happen? This was inhumane and I think the real reason why he was treated so poorly is because he is black.
Horrible experience

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
