Dr. Yasaman Mansouri's Online Review Report Card

I found Dr. Mansouri on ZocDoc and selected her because of her ratings, especially, her high marks in bedside manner. Luckily, she did not disappoint. She is a caring, smart and mindful doctor. I have seen drastic improvements in my skin since her treatment. She is excellent at answering any questions with her expertise, as well. You will feel confident your skin is getting optimal care with her guidance. Highly recommend her!

I came for a follow up with Dr Yasaman Mansouri to look at the progress of my acne and blemish scar treatment. I’m pushing thirty years old and I am experiencing more acne at this age than I did as an adolescent. I went to Dr. Yasaman to get this sorted out. She’s been my dermatologist for almost a year now and every visit is so worth it. She is very kind and helpful, and very easy to talk to! I feel comfortable sharing my concerns and vulnerabilities which I think is critical for any health care situation. If I have any skin care or medication questions she takes the time to answer each one. Aside from the professional care that is given, the office itself has some delightful art and decorations that bring joy to me. Wait times may be long - today my wait was shorter than usual. I don’t mind this for all the reasons stated above. She’s great at what she does! I’ll be back for a follow up in a few months from now.

Dr. Mansouri is an excellent doctor, not only knowledgeable and highly competent, but also- uniquely, thankfully- kind, humane. She treats her patients with skilled professionalism that inspires confidence but alway as people first and foremost. For those of us who suffer anxiety about health (and who doesn't these days?) I recommend Dr. Mansouri enthusiastically. She cares about patients and really listens to your concerns (unfortunately, some busy physicians fail in this crucial regard). I dread doctor appointments, but those with Dr. Mansouri put my mind at ease. I really appreciated the care taken to achieve that result. The office is peaceful, clean, uncrowded, the wait times short and soothing. In my 68th year, I've been to see several doctors, and the experience of visiting Dr. Mansouri involved none of the stress I've grown used to with others. Indeed, I left each time feeling better than when I'd come in. It's no exaggeration to say that after treatment by Dr. Mansouri I felt restored faith not only in the medical profession but in humanity.

I work in health care so my standards are high. I am glad I decided to follow the recommendations of my colleagues and visited Dr. Mansouri. I had the best experience with her. She is approachable, professional, and her knowledge about dermatology is wide and solid. She was thorough asking the right questions and gave me recommendations truly aligned with what I needed and with realistic expectations. Since the skin is the larger organ of the body, I am relieved I finally found someone I trust to help me take care of it. Highly recommended.

So I started going to her about 3-4 months ago. When I first came in she was very welcoming, and informative. She asked me about my skin problems, the products I use, and then assessed my skin. I was struggling with pimples that just wouldn’t go away on my right cheek, my forehead had this tiny bumps that didn’t seem like pimples, and I had some back acne… Phew 😅. However, she recommended some products and also recommended some non-prescription products like Cerave(since I have bad insurance) and then sent me off. After that, I set appointments to come in every month, and she would assess my skin, ask me what’s working, what’s not and maybe make new Recs. Now, I’m on month 3 and my foreheads bumps are basically gone, my cheek has been clear for the past 2 months, and I just feel great about myself. The back acne is gone too. Moral of the story: She’s the best!

My experience has been amazing with this Doctor. She really helped me with my chronic condition that I’ve been battling for years. She’s patient, explains things throughly and takes time to talk to you. I’ve had a great experience.
