I saw this man who I refuse to refer to as a doctor back in 2007. I went in complaining of severe headaches. He barely spent 5 minutes with me and simply gave me a script to have an MRI done. The neurologist is who made the unforgivable mistake of misinterpreting my scan and saying it was normal. However, a true doctor would still take a look at the film and not just go by the report. Here I am 6 years later with a massive brain tumor. By chance I had copies of those 2007 films as well as the report and gave it to my current neurosurgeon not thinking much of it. I figured it would help to have a pic of my brain when it was "normal". Much to my surprise my doctor says, "I'm so sorry to have to tell you this but you had the tumor back then". I was absolutely horrified. He showed me the tumor which was much smaller at the time and could have either been monitored or radiated, but neither was done because of the misdiagnosis by Dr. Edward Chai. I've recently had brain surgery in order to remove as much of the tumor as possible. I have to live with several physical limitations and I owe it all to Dr. Edward Chai. I refuse to go down without a fight. My voice will be heard about this matter.
