I'm writing this review on behalf of a family friend who took her son to the ER 3x and Dr. Mahl kept dismissing her concerns in regards to her son's lump in his eyelid until finally another doctor intervened and actually ordered Dr. Mahl to get an MRI for my friend son and they found cancer. He is starting chemo asap but the fact that the child was taken to him three times to the emergency room and kept being dismissed. Purely unethical and arrogant not sure if it was a language barrier seeing as my friend only speaks Spanish but still they offer translators so this should not have been an issue but when a parent takes her child to see you three times and keeps being dismissed just purely arrogant and dismissive. Also reading through others reviews this isn't the first time he has done this. Just hoping my friends' son chemo takes effect just very upset.

Dr. Mahl was extremely thoughtful and thorough during our son's visit to the ER. He helped calm my son, wife and I down during a difficult evening. While our (former) pediatrician and a previous visit to another ER hadn't correctly diagnosed our 5 year old, Dr. Mahl resolved my boy's pain and even followed up to make sure he was still okay.

he misdiagnosed my son and sent him home with septic arthritis saying he had synovitis. Although my son had all the symptoms that warranted at least a consult of an orthopedist in the hospital. He said it's a virus and sent him home. Meanwhile my son couldn't even sit due to extreme pain. My son ended up having surgery a few days later thanks to a more knowledgeable doctor.

This is Doctor is amazing! He save our baby second time.He is very professional and intelligence , always explained us what's the problem and why it's happend. So bad that he is practicing only at the hospital, I would love to see him at the any regular medical office.
