Genesis Fertility & Reproductive Medicine's Online Review Report Card

We are part of the 2-3% of couples with the Unknown as the reason for infertility ....couples who can't get pregnant on their own. Thanks to Dr chiware's ability to research and troubleshoot and the clinic being specific to fertility we now know why and were able to have a healthy baby boy :). We tried for 6 months. I came clean with all my labs including no tubs are blocked. so we thought we had a male issue with very little quality count. Went to 3 states, saw about 9 doctors and specialists. I'll explain the good things I did and the no so good ones so you can avoid them. 1st choice. I picked Dr chiware. Please do this. she is an excellent researcher. 2nd good choice. I was 37. I went to IVF vs IUI. When I asked few doctors they were not able to tell me what to do. But when I spoke to made chiware she made me feel at ease but gave me % that makes more sense To be Going straight to IVF made more sense since it's higher % of success. Please do this if you can financially. Did a total of 4 rounds of IVF. And chose to do all the tests $4,000 extra on each round for all the embryos. Please do this. We had like 12 embryos but plus 2 were good enough after the tests. On the 1st found of IVF. We thought we had enough with 2 eggs for 2 babies. So Decided to use 1 of the eggs Well sadly had a Ectopic pregnancy. This was a bad decision. Which happens like less than 1% of the times. So rare they had to call a few so it's to call it. Felt very defeated by now and even lost a job and insurance during all of this. Next time I should have done a trial run and this would have saves this good embryo but also potentially 3 more IVF rounds. Do The trial one with a ln egg that's not 100%. I didn't because I didn't want to wait any longer. Please days felt like months. 4th good choice I did was go for the surgery. Either take a pill or surgery to terminate it. I decided for surgery. Turns out that when I decided for the l surgery Dr chiware saw the issue. My tube had been damaged by a prior surgery when they closed me the tube was sawn into my skin. The other was damaged by the pregnancy and needed to be cut too low so it won't work again. 4th choice Dr chiware decided to cut them both while I was in surgery as this way i don't have the issue again. Did 3 more rounds of IVF (total 4) by then 38 years old the quality was not good but doctor changed my protocols from antagonist to protagonist when I went from 2 to 3rd. The 3rd worked. For 2 good eggs. Did a 4th and did not work so called it a day. I got Covid and a new job so had to postpone things again. We are now on year 2 and I decided to implant from my 1st IVF round and .....it worked. 2 weeks ago I gave birth to a 9 lb 4.5oz baby boy. I also donated my medications via Facebook as a way to pay it forward. If you are resign this and struggling ....know I am part of your sisterhood and We can't wait for you to get amazing results. In short l: 1. Pick the right doctor. You will feel it. Keep trying to find one. 2. Try it all you can financially. 3. Need donations then Go to Facebook as people have donated medication there. 4. Get support from others I found like 6 IG accounts I followed that I loved. Kept me

There are no amount of words that can express my gratitude and appreciation for genesis fertility. Dr. Ross took the time to listen to me and to listen to all the issues I was facing, we took the right steps and we took our time. To follow-up calls from Nellie. We had a wonderful experience with Genesis. After years of dealing with (sometimes harsh) fertility doctors, Dr. Chiware was warm, empathetic, honest, extremely competent, and super professional. I followed her guidance and recommendations, and my husband and I welcomed our beautiful baby boy this June. The staff were also exceptional, especially Jennifer Mundo, who was so helpful and kind. We are forever grateful to Genesis for our little miracle baby!

8 months ago we started our journey with unexplained infertility. After already over a year of trying. First step was both of us to get blood work, genetic testing, and me to get an HSG. Appointment follow up, had to miss ours of work but came to have my blood and HSG results discussed. Doctor frantically apologized that he couldn’t find the HSG in system (from over a week prior) and after checkin records he accidentally never ordered my blood tests properly. So day wasted between work and cabs. Flash forward 8 months. Ready to try IUI. After 3 appointments, scans, blood, 5 days of med, trigger shot with horrible effects. Hundreds of dollars. Missing work. But most of all high hopes and happiness. Fiancé went in with sample today and me 2hrs later for IUi. To be sat down and told that 8 months ago our genetic screening had an overlap and IUI can’t be performed. I sat in office crying 30 mins. And asking a million questions. They tried to say that the genetic place called me 5x that week. I seen report online. And wasn’t told about an overlap. And is it the patients job to be told lab work and understand ? Even though wasn’t told. Do our results not go to our DOCTOR whom we pay and trust. Who makes our game plan in this fertility pathway. I demanded to know why this is being found out and told to me the morning of. All I got was a million apologies. Their genetic counselor wasn’t in for days to explain results further and my next steps for IUI or IVf. For those who suffer we all know how hard adding another month on is!!! How heart breaking. I’ve spent the last few hours sick to my stomach and crying. I can’t believe a place with so many high reviews can do such a thing to a patient. Regardless of miscommunication from a lab. It is the doctors responsibility to make the right choices for a patient. As I also sit here cramping, migraine, and sick to my stomach from a week of meds to help me conceive.

It’s hard to put into words what an incredible super team they are! Always felt good and very well taken care of, they made you feel secure and calmed all my concerns, which is a very important key on this journey. A special thanks to all the girls there, Jessica Dana, Susan, Toby, Jean, Britney, Rrusha (ultrasound girls) sorry if I don’t remember all your names, You’re all amazing girls and so lovely! Forever grateful and thankful for my beautiful Dr. Katherine Ross! She is so knowledgeable, sweetest and warmest. I couldn't have hoped for a better experience, hands down the best doctor!! I highly recommended her, she’s the real one!

I have been with Genesis for over 3 years. They worked with me and my husband to figure out the best way for us to achieve our dream of being parents. They provided options and worked with us on protocols and medical options. After 3 years, we have our rainbow babies, actually twins. Thank you Dr. Grazi and the wonderful IVF nurses.

It was a long journey for me, to get to the point. I have been felt depressed, hopeless, until my biggest dream came true. I’m very grateful and thankful to doctor Ross. She is very professional in her field, who is willing to explain to you patientelly, every step of your treatment. She never gets tired with the patients, she’s very warm and politely. Genesis Fertility is a wonderful team, and I couldn’t forget to thank all the girls, nurses, one by one, who were taking care of me, on this long treatment. I kept calling every time on the phone to get clear all my concerns, they never got tired and upset with me. God bless you all girls! I would highly recommended to everybody this wonderful team.

Dr is very nice, but I don't feel this clinic cares about your needs beyond billing your insurance and collecting co-pay. They will ask you to do a bunch of tests and then results can be left unreviewed for weeks (the billing is done immediately, though). If you ask for your results to be given to you, you can also wait for it for days for a simple pdf file because for printed out version "you have to pay for the paper"(c). Rx wasn't sent out until I called multiple times to be transferred from one line to another. Honestly, I had different expectations of this clinic, but I feel like the focus is on the insurance rather than the patient.

My wife and I absolutely loved the level of care that we received from Genesis, in particular Dr.Melzer-Ross who assisted us throughout the entire process when it came to our IVF journey. We are now about to celebrate our son's 1st birthday and still are in awe that we get to be parents of our special one. Thank you Dr. Ross for all you did along with the team at Genesis.
