🙏🏽💝💜💖🇨🇺🇯🇲🇺🇲 GREETNS, HAPPY 2025! Been Coming 2 IDCC SINCE December of 2017! LOVE, KA, FM, and Receptionist Amarellis, TU 4 UR RECOMMENDATIONS!
I honestly love Interborough. I don't know about the negative reviews but I think it's important to try this place yourself. Thanks to a representative at 988 they have helped me find this place so far they help with medication management, therapy and also employment help. I feel like the people I interact with honestly do care if they go out of their way to make sure you're safe. I have yet to find a con about this place I know everywhere you go it's not perfect but compared to my old clinic, they actually have goals and will help me work towards completing them. I am really grateful for the doctors here
So, this is the response I received, waiting only 5 months after leaving my review! Seems the respondent is unaware that I called on 2 separate occasions upon leaving the comment below, and I am still waiting for a call back to schedule the consult this response has suggested. On both occasions I was told the call-back was supposed to be from the office manager, but I've not heard from anyone at IDC till this response. Really, what can the office manager possibly do that is going to be able to do to rectify this issue? This is the kind of "care & concern" these people have. Since I'm no longer attending, they are no longer getting paid to care, which is why after a bad review & 2 separate phone calls to schedule a conference, I've not heard back to date...except for the ridiculous response arriving 5 months after the fact. The only thing these people care about is getting paid! I've just left IDCC after wasting 6+ years 'receiving services'. They mismanaged my case terribly. Therapy is meant to move you forward and better your life, but after all this time, my life is no better today than when I first arrived, it's actually worse. I arrived, after moving to the area, on medications including one for my ADHD. Nurse Reese eliminated my ADHD medication but never replaced it. He was also reluctant to do any adjustments to my other meds when I was noticed they were becoming ineffective. I was then given a psychiatrist who never addressed the adhd medication concerns, nor address medication concerns. She seemed easily offended, perhaps due to pregnancy hormones, when I questioned my care, from that point forward she was unable to hide the fact she didn't want to work with me, and was unresponsive to medication adjustments. I bounced through 2 more psychiatrist, still with no adhd medication. When I started to have adverse reactions to then current regimen, instead of switching my meds, they wanted to pile on more, leaving me to wonder if they get kickbacks for each script. I did manage to see the same therapist for the whole time there, but my life is as unmanageable as when I came in if not worse, as 'therapy' was more of a 'kvetch' session than actionable remedies for my life. The last email to my psychiatrist was unanswered. I'm now on zero meds, struggling with my adhd, my daily living skills haven't improved, my interpersonal skills have deteriorated, I still have no job, no improvement in my housing situation, no improvement in my mood, nor my decision making abilities. I called to complain about my care & was told I'd receive a call back...I'm still waiting!

Clean place with a water cooler
They not diverse as they claim to be and only favors the other ethnicitys
If you are person of color especially a black person do not come here. All the positive reviews are Caucasian people. The crown heights location is hell the establishment is racist. I brought my daughter here in 2021 and it’s been issues after issues. My daughter therapist left without preparing her for closure and IDCC left her without a therapist for four months. Then her psychiatrist did not see her in three months and she went without medication. Her new psychiatrist met with recently and made my child feel judged , belittled , and stereotyped her. She took her off medication and then my daughter started having suicidal ideations. My daughter has really bad anxiety and needs accommodations for exams. My daughter has been asking for a letter that she can take to her school office for students with disabilities to get accommodation IDCC is not providing the letter my daughter has been asking for this letter for a month and finals are about to start and she is at risk for failing. I’ve reached out the president of IDCC he ignores me. Director Morgan Siegel ignores. My daughter was suppose to get services from their sister company , and IDCC shared with there sister company negative things about myself and my child .painting us as problematic. If you care about your black daughters don’t bring them here . They have made my daughter worse with the lack of care and disrespect from staff. These people can make patients commit suicide. They are cruel, liars , and racists.
Interborough is a great place for help with many types of mental health therapies and also assistance with life and living conditions. They accept medicaid and other health plans. They're also affordable if you have no insurance. The office on East New York Avenue is close to all public transit. Give 'em a call, therapy works!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
