List of Irina Gressel's Reviews
Dr Gressel has been my PCP for many years, she and her staff are always kind and courteous.
I have been a patient for many years and have always enjoyed my time with her and her staff members. I have never had to wait an unreasonable length of time to see her.
One of the best PCP’s I’ve had. However, you do have to have patience when here. It’s a small office and it’s always full. Make sure to make appointments for early in the morning to beat the rush.
My mother has been going to Dr. Gressel for a couple of years and all the staff knows her and is always very helpful. Dr. Gressel always takes her time with her and the wait time is less than two hrs.
This has been the worst experience with a doctor in my whole 32 years on this planet. The first problem is that you will never see the doctor when your appointment is scheduled - last time I didn’t see the doctor until 55 minutes after my appointment was scheduled to start. But that’s not really even the worst part..I initially visited in November and they refilled my seizure medications. Every month thereafter, I had to hold their hand into refilling them again. The pharmacy would put in the request and they would ignore it, so I would call and they would tell me they would do it, but then wouldn’t. This was EVERY MONTH. Then I try to refill in March, and they tell me the doctor wants to see me before a refill - I’m annoyed, but I go and I wait for an hour and am late back to work. I get three months worth and then call the pharmacy yesterday for a refill and they say I don’t have any refills and will put in a request. I, again, called to nag them about it and I get a call back telling me the doctor wants a follow up before she’ll refill. I ask why, because it’s been only three months and I’m told “things change”, so I remind them “I’ve had epilepsy for 17 years - nothing has changed about that diagnosis in the last 3 months”. So they tell me sorry, but I have to come in for a refill. So I try to be honest and let them know I only have one covered appointment per year, and after that I have to pay out-of-pocket, and then I also have to pay out-of-pocket for my medications which costs $100 per month, as I have a high deductible plan through work and an HSA. But they literally couldn’t have cared less. So I told them I’m done and hung up the phone. Then my girlfriend called, and all of a sudden it’s because the doctor isn’t a neurologist and she will continue to make me come in every time I need a refill. Mind you, these prescriptions have been refilled continuously by a primary care doctor for at least the last 10 years. This is not a doctor’s office, this is extortion of sick people who rely on their medications to survive. I’m beyond disturbed. I’ve never experienced this type of “doctoring” in my life and have never once had a doctor care so little about my health that they’re willing to hold my medications hostage in order to make a couple hundred bucks off of me by forcing me to come in every couple months.Do yourself a favor and see a real doctor.
Beware of this doctor. She doesn’t care about some of her patients. She under medicated me and left me to deal with the consequences. When I brought it to her attention she said that it wasn’t her fault and that she gave me the same medication that she gave to her other patients. I thought she was giving me personalized care but I was so wrong.
I wasn't permitted to get my Covid-19 results or the bloodwork results for antibodies without making a second appointment. When I made a second appointment via teleconference, I was not contacted. When I called multiple times for results and left messages because no one answers the phone there, I was not contacted. It's been 3 weeks since my bloodwork tests and I still don't have results. It's a scam.
Dr. Gressel has been my primary physician since my early 30's when she was located at Brooklyn Hospital. Dr. Gressel has always been professional, punctual, and efficient in providing best care possible.
I have been a patient of Dr. Grissell for about 4 years. Her staff is very competent and friendly. Dr. Gressell is an amazing caregiver, very knowledgeable and she more than goes the extra mile for her patients.
I like the fact that she won’t unnecessarily prescribe you medication you may not need ,before trying something natural

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
