Dr. Aral has been a breath of fresh air in what had become a miasma of uncertainty in my non-textbook case of breast cancer. He has a very keen mind and is notably knowledgeable in his field. Best of all, he's able to communicate that information in a cogent way to those of us who are neophytes in such things. He was able to sort through all the options for treatment, explain the pros and cons and he wasn't afraid to offer direction from his years of experience and knowledge. He instills confidence not on just a subjective level (because he is confident and likable), but more importantly on an objective level with his knowledge of statistics, side effects and the overall picture. His staff members in Riverhead are just as exceptional. They made treatment so much more palatable than I ever would have expected: welcoming, upbeat, patient and they even added a splash of humor at times. I simply cannot say enough for this team of professionals. We're blessed to have them out East!

The entire office of Dr Aral are terrific. Dealing with Cancer is not easy but Dr Aral and his staff made everything better. From reception to nurses and aides the experience was so good they made a difficult time look easy. We would recommend this practice to everyone.

My experience with Dr. Aral and his entire staff was nothing but positive and pleasant. They are the best, very efficient , hard working and right on the money as far as treatment is concerned. They treat everyone fairly and make you feel like family.

Dr.Aral, and his team, provided a 28 session radiation treatment for my prostrate cancer. Obviously, this was stressful time for me, and my family. Dr. Aral, and his team, relieved a lot of stress by their professionalism, and upbeat attitude, over the long course of my treatment. Everyone left me with the impression that they truly care about their patients. I would recommend them to others without hesitation.

Dr. Aral is truly an exceptional physician. He and his team treated me for prostate cancer over the course of 2 1/2 weeks. He took the time to thoroughly explain treatment options and is extremely knowledgeable in Radiation Oncology. He consulted with my Urologist on an ongoing basis and I felt that I was in excellent hands. I would highly recommend him and his patient services team (Sophia, Cherilyn, Larry, Kim, Ben, Kristy, Catherine and Dr. Han. Finally, I strongly suggest he be contacted to discuss a treatment plan that fits your requirements.

OUTSTANDING. This one word characterizes Dr. Isamettin Aral and his entire team in Riverhead. Initially, I was greeted by the doctor’s cheerful and always helpful receptionist, Shannon. I was interviewed and processed meticulously and in a friendly manner by his nurse, Susan. Dr. Aral then met with me for two hours and explained radiation oncology in a way that someone with no medical background could understand. He answered all my questions and consistently asked if I had any more. I never felt rushed or hurried in any way. The radiation therapy was conducted by the doctor’s professional, friendly and warm therapists: Cynthia, Samantha and Christy. Dr. Aral met with me after each of the sessions to review the procedure and see how I was handling them. I highly recommend Dr. Aral and his staff to anyone in need of this procedure.

I mentioned to Dr. Aral and his staff that I didn't think anyone would enjoy radiation treatment for prostate cancer. However, he and his staff made my experience "almost enjoyable." His professionalism, caring attitude, patience, and empathy only begin to describe how grateful I am to have been his patient. From his first meeting with my wife and me, he simply put me at ease by his manner and way of describing my treatment options. Each week he met with me to hear my concerns and outline my progress in language I could digest and understand. As a former school Principal, I mentioned to him that I tried to create a positive environment for my staff so that they too would follow my example. Dr.Aral has done that as well. Because of his leadership and demeanor, he has assembled a staff that embodies the same professional, empathetic, caring attitude. I thank him and them for making a somewhat intimidating experience almost enjoyable.

Dr. Aral was very thorough and thoughtful about preparing my treatment and making sure I understood everything. He answered questions clearly, completely and honestly. The staff is highly skilled and caring. From reception, to the treatment and to discussion with the doctor, everyone made me feel comfortable.

Dr. Aral spent 3 hours explaining my problem in detail as well as treatment options. Answered all my questions. Treatments went very well. Staff was great.
