John Ashkar's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Ashkar's office is not what it once was. The staff are horrible! Keep you on hold for a long time, never answer. When you do get one of them on the phone, they do not do what is asked of them. The wait time to see the doctor is ridiculous, just to be seen by him for 2 mins. The staff pre-covid used to care about the patients, not anymore. Unless you like to be frustrated and get the run around on appointments, medication refill delays and wait long periods of time, I strongly do not recommend this doctor's office.

I have been going from one specialist to another for years with no real answers pertaining to what's going on with, I am so grateful for Dr.Ashkar. Finally I have the answers I've been searching for and a treatment plan that helps. The staff was so nice to me during a time I felt at my lowest, although I can admit I may have come off a little rude, they was able to digress the situation without making me feel horrible. . Now we greet each other with smiles. This doctors office makes me feel at home, I feel like I am in good hands.

Wow, where can i start dr. ashkar is amazing , i can count on both hands how many people i recommened to come to see him and they were beyond impressed. i will say this office is really busy so getting an appointment is a little task but definetly worth the wait. The staff is also amazing they understand that they are there to help assist in making the pt feel better. Truly one of a kind.

I NEVER post reviews let alone a negative review but this just topped it off. That 1 star is out of respect for the doctor. However the rest of the staff is a disgrace. The lack of professionalism is disgusting. Months before you can get an appointment and that’s not because the doctor is so busy (I’m sitting here in the office and I’m the ONLY patient!!) it’s because of the incompetent staff who THINK they know what they’re doing. They never gave me back my insurance card or driver’s license, I asked for it twice. They speak with an attitude and order you to come up to the window several times (again because they have no idea what they’re doing). I didn’t know it takes FOUR people to register ONE patient, yes they’re all standing there as if it’s a group project! I can go on but don’t want to get personal with names. I’m sure there will be people to differ with my review but the office impression is what makes patients return back. I work in the medical field so I know what I’m talking about. Dr. Ashkar - if you happen to read this ….I genuinely hope you rectify this so you don’t lose your business :)

Have been coming here with my mother for the last 6-7 years and it has only become more and more apparent that Ashkar and the staff don’t give a single f about their patients. Waiting time is always more than anticipated & reception staff is unbelievably rude and unhelpful. I have been given the wrong prescription before by Ashkar himself and I find it super concerning that all the amazing and kind women primary Drs I had there, all of the sudden just “left.” Now they don’t have any availability from now until November and if you need a prescription refilled, reception will tell you there is nothing they can do and leave you zero options to help you find a alternative to obtain a refill for a prescription your health relies on. We will never be going back.

Dr Ashkar has been my pulmonary dr. For many years, yes you will wait. At times a long time but I can can have a conversation with him about my medical care and he listens. He's a great doctor and cares! So if I have to wait for him ,I will!

I am an elderly 83 year old who booked my appt 3 months ago. When I arrived there was no room to sit in the office with ten people jammed together in a very small waiting room size of a broom closet. I HAD TO STAND! Plus a 3 + hour wait! Would never recommend this abuse to anyone!

Waited 2 hours and 30 minutes past my appointment to be seen a few months back. Went back today and it's the same thing. I will be switching doctors, never coming back.

BEWARE!! Wrong medication was given to a family member so of course it couldn't be taken..office and doctor were notified, correct medication was never given..constantly called office and left msgs with service and still not corrected and doctor still has not called. Because of the doctors error family member was rushed twice and admitted into the hospital. Very unprofessional staff too.

The worst Doctor and staff ever, I would not recommend
