MItchell Teitelbaum's Online Review Report Card

I called Michael after reading an article by him on the web, on direct pulp capping. hoping he would know a dentist in Toronto who would do it on a deep cavity I have. he did say if I find one he will email the step by step instructions! Michael knows his stuff! he seems genuine friendly and patient and is very knowledgeable, he answered all my questions pertaining to other areas of concern in my mouth as well. I feel good that he took the time to speak to me over the phone to answer all my questions, all the way from Toronto!

It’s terrible when you have An emergency during the holiday and the only office open rejecting you just because they don’t accept new patients. What about emergency? Could you please ask doctor? The answer is NO!

Dr. Taitelbaum is by far the best dentist I've been to in Manhattan. and also a very affordable one too who charged me under $1000 for 6 fillings. I would strongly recommend him to anyone who needs a reliable and affordable dentist.

Great dentist! He is so caring, and gentle, explains everything,. His hygienists give me the most thorough, gentle cleanings they helped me get past my fear & get healthy again.

Gd bless Dr T. and his amazing staff! I was a victim of domestic abuse. My smile was smashed, I was alone in a shelter, no job, no money, embarrassed to even talk, let alone go on an interview. Dr.T volunteered with "Give Back a Smile" to give me back my life. His office is the most homey, comfortable place yo can imagine, it wasn't easy for me, but they completely erased my fear of dentists and rebuilt my mouth, and returned the smile that had been so cruelly taken from me. I can personally say he has the highest respect for new tech, sterile-ness, and is so gentle and understanding, I was actually able to trust a man again. He gave me the chance to start my life over. You won't find a better, smarter, cleaner, more understanding dentist!

In my quest for finding a decent dentist, I was referred to Dr. Teitelbaum from calling 1-800-dentist. What a HUGE mistake it was for me to trust this service. Dr. Teitelbaum's dental office is FILTHY! From the patient waiting room to the exam rooms. It is located in a very awkward location, not in a medical building but in a house that is so old and in need of repair. It is very clear when you see this place that Dr. Teitelbaum is not concerned with cleanliness including his own cloths. Furthermore, his pricing is outrageous! He charged me a huge fee for adjusting my denture and it felt exactly the same as when I brought it in. When I complained about this, he refused to refund my money and wouldn't work with me in making the modifications I needed. Wish I had never trusted 1-800-DENTIST. WHAT A TERRIBLE DENTIST!

This dentist is wonderful! My son fell and broke his front teeth. DR T. Came in on special, on a weekend, saw my son, eased my mind, then fixed his broken teeth so beautifully you can't tell. He used a whole bunch ofcutting edge technology, not to mention how much he knows! He's go like a million diplomas, and he even teaches this new stuff to other dentists! I'm hooked for life!

I had a toothache. I was so scared, but DrT. saved me. He calmed me down, explained everything as he did it. No surprises, and no pain! It took a while for me to build up the courage, but they worked with me, no pressure, and eventually got my whole mouth fixed up and looking great again.

Old, run down office in an old house in the quaint village of Briarcliff. Apparantly this guy's Dad was a dentist here many years ago. All original scary equiptment from Dad's days. Needs an upgrade. It's like you stepped into 1960. Office is dark, dirty and cluttered. Signs all over the place stuck on every piece of equiptment to tell you what it does. Really weird. Staff was very polite, but not very knowledgeable. They had an old dirty pair of video glasses that had apparently been WORN before. Didn't exactly want those on my face, and they didn't make up for the hour and a half the doc kept me waiting because he was "running late". The office smelled like burnt coffee that had been sitting in the pot all day. Overall a very bad experience for me.
