Greg Taylor has been my PT for over ten years. I am now a professional aerialist, but when I first met Greg I was just a professional dancer. I had knee surgery and I was looking for a PT to get me back to dancing shape- not just back to walking and everyday living. Greg did just this. My job now as an aerial acrobat is even more demanding on my body and I am picky about who I let do bodywork on me, as it is my tool for work. Greg is the only PT that I trust. In recent years he helped me to fully recover from an unexpected trauma to my hand and I was back to work in no time. Now, he is helping me to rehab an overuse injury in my shoulder/neck. He has created a family atmosphere at Movement Improvement Physical Therapy. His staff are all very knowledgeable and super friendly. I highly recommend Greg Taylor and Movement Improvement PT!
Dr. Taylor and his staff are truly incredible. He's treated me for several running injuries, and he really knows his stuff. In addition, the atmosphere in the office is upbeat and fun. You can tell the staff truly enjoys working with one another. He most recently got me to the NYC marathon - my first! - despite a calf sprain and getting the flu near the end of my training. His skill, plus his positive attitude, makes him an amazing PT!
I went for acupuncture. The location was great and Lawrence was a great practitioner.
Horrible! Even though I had a scheduled appointment they kept me waiting for an hour for a 1/2 hour appt--after an hour I walked out. They said they had taken a walk in right before my appointment-why??? When they knew I had a scheduled appt, why on earth did they take a walk in? Very unprofessional! And they were laughing about it as if it was a big joke. They make it very clear which people they want to spend time with which is very unprofessional considering that they billed me and my insurance company for nothing.
Congratulations! Stop looking; you've found your next physical therapist!! Greg + team are AWESOME. The entire staff at Movement Improvement is warm, attentive, and incredibly skilled at helping folks recover from injuries. In just six weeks, Gregg, Steph, Paige, and Joaquin helped me recover from a painful metatarsal fracture and regain full usage of my foot. They were so supportive, helped me understand my injury better, and taught me a number of great exercises I can do on my own to continue to prevent reinjury. I can't recommend this five-star team more highly!!
Dr Taylor and his staff are very friendly, professional and provide great treatment. They have nurtured me through a few running injuries over the years. Would recommend this practice without hesitation.
I was impressed with the facility, the staff, and the treatment. But what was distressing was the way that my treatment there ended. I got a call the day before my next appt from the receptionist, who told me that the therapist I'd been seeing, Alana -- whom I'd seen the day before -- had a different schedule, and so I would need to see someone else, in like another three weeks. It soon became apparent that this was all a euphemism for "Alana has suddenly left the practice". Not only should this have been made clear from the start, but someone more senior than the receptionist -- the owner, say -- should have called to apologize and to explain the situation. This left me with a bad taste, and I've taken my business elsewhere.
Best physical therapy place that I have ever seen. Staff are most welcoming
This is the best PT I’ve ever been to! I’ve been injured frequently for years and never found a good PT to help me understand the reasons of my pain and educate me to recover efficiently. Greg and his team have an amazing energy, which helped me keep a positive mind even while I was in pain. They would really take care of you, spend time with you on 1:1 so you feel like a valued patient. Nothing to do with some places in the city where there would be one therapist for multiple patient at the same time! Strongly recommend it!
Movement Improvement is exactly the kind of practice you want in a neighborhood facility. Excellent, highly educated and expert professionals who bring that friendly and warm element to their interactions with each patient. Greg is truly talented and you can see how passionate he is about his work. His employees are smart, patient, and exactly the kind of people you can trust to deliver solid care. They care about your progress. The facility is clean, well lit, and has quality equipment. They are very organized and professional all around. After taking PT in Manhattan at NYU and checking out another spot in Brooklyn Heights there is not a question that MI is leaps and bounds above these in every way. Thanks Greg and team!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
