List of Pando Wellness's Reviews
H is an absolutely amazing practitioner. As a therapist who often works with folks living with both an eating disorder and a history of trauma, finding fellow providers who I trust and who I know my clients can trust is absolutely essential. H does an amazing job at meeting clients where they are at through a beautiful blend of concrete suggestions, education, non-judgment, allowing of emotion, and awareness of systemic systems of oppression and bias and how we all internalize these to varying extents. I've sadly had some clients tell me that working with a nutritionist has felt either unhelpful or at times invalidating, and H does a wonderful job at being a partner with clients rather than working in a hierarchical expert-knows-best way. They are patient with people who need to go slow and also highly skilled at helping people get unstuck. I deeply value collaborating with them and recommend them wholeheartedly for both potential clients and other eating disorder providers looking to strengthen a client's care with nutrition support.
I can’t recommend working with H. highly enough. I’m deeply grateful to them for the unlearning they’ve facilitated in my own life around rejecting diet culture. I’ve felt especially held and seen by H. while navigating my gender journey as a queer, enby person. They are warm, thoughtful, kind, empathetic, skilled, flexible, open, and trustworthy.
H. Coakley is my absolute favorite eating disorders dietician. We often work together with clients, and what has stood out to me over the years is H’s deep compassion for clients and emotional attunement to the tender process of eating disorder recovery. Further, H shows commitment to social justice and trauma informed care in a way that few other dieticians do—and how that impacts clients relationship to food and body. Their ability to truly meet clients where they are at allows for clients to feel agency and self trust often for the first time. As an eating disorders therapist, H is always my first choice to refer my clients to! Could not recommend them more highly.
Hannah's approach is unique and for the first time I believe recovery is possible. They are compassionate and meet me where I'm at, not where they feel I should be. It helps that Hannah shares their experiences of having an eating disorder and reassure me that what I'm going through is common for those in recovery. I don't feel as alone and have progressed more in my short time working with Hannah that I have in 30+ years of seeing numerous other dieticians and nutritionists, even those who claimed to have training working with eating disorders.
If you are looking for an anti-diet, Health at Every Size, queer-friendly nutritionist, H is it. They helped me move through some complex issues around food and the body with patience and grace. They are an incredible listener and are exceptionally skilled at being present with what's coming up in each moment. H is truly what I want in every health practitioner.
I had an extremely affirming and caring experience with H. It was really important to me to work with a nutritionist who could see me as trans. My work with H has helped me heal and find new support within myself and with others.
H is a wonderful human with a large breadth of clinical nutrition experience. They hold a deep understanding of eating disorders and body image struggles and apply a holistic and personalized method to each client they support. They really make you feel understood and apply a 'we' mentality to the work you do with them so that you feel you are together on a team with them tackling challenges. I would recommend them to any and all friends struggling with food or body issues.
H is truly an amazing person to work with. They are compassionate, knowledgeable, relatable, and have been truly instrumental in my recovery and my journey towards a friendlier relationship with food. I am so grateful to have their support in my corner, and would recommend their services to any of my friends or family without a second thought. Thank you, H!
H has been one of the most compassionate and understanding dietitians I have ever had the the privilege of working with. A lot of dietitians adapt treatment plans to the client's needs, but never quite like They have. They have an amazing balance of knowing when to push and when not to. What to change and what not to. Letting me set my own goals, while supporting those goals and also rewording them if needed if its the eating disorder talking. Throwing in some of their own goals for me if needed if the eating disorder brain is just controlling me too much. I worked with them a few years ago at a treatment center, and came back to them last year as outpatient when I wasn't in the best place. I know they aren't fully to thank for my progress, but they are to thank for helping me get there and teaching me skills to continue with my progress. They always have a crazy good idea I have never thought of nor what has ever been recommended to me to help me achieve some really simple but hard goals for myself. Instead of the thing most people say when it comes to treatment "_____ saved my life", because no one else can save you, H has helped me learn how to save my own. I am so grateful to be working with such a wonderful dietitian.
Hannah has cultivated a compassionate, honest relationship with me in which I feel safe, seen, and understood. As an individual with various marginalized identities, I truly value Hannah's social justice and advocacy perspective and am comfortable knowing they provide culturally responsive and competent care. In our work together we are able to openly discuss the impacts of cultural factors on my recovery process (e.g., their willingness to provide affordable/accessible care) and consistently explore my strengths and capabilities in making recovery-focused choices. I cannot recommend them enough!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
