Dr Steigman had to perform a emergency appendectomy on our 16 year old son. He made certain it was absolutely necessary before taking out his appendix and made the right call. He explained the diagnosis and surgical process and we felt confident throughout the entire stressful visit and procedure. We would definitely recommend him!

Dr. Steigman performed laparoscopic hernia surgery on my 11-yr old son in Jan 2022. Everything went very smoothly. We had a follow-up visit about 2 weeks later. My son returned to his normal physical activities w/o difficulty. As background, we met w/Dr. Steigman once, prior to surgery, in Dec of 2021 to confirm the diagnosis of our pediatrician. During this first encounter & both of the subsequent engagements, Dr. Steigman answered all questions very calmly, thoroughly, and politely. I never felt like he was in a hurry to leave, as I’ve felt with some other doctors. I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Steigman. The first pediatric surgeon to whom we were referred decided to retire after we made an appointment w/him. I got to Dr. Steigman via online research. Turns out that while in medical school, Dr. Steigman studied under the doc to whom we were originally referred. Guess it was kismet we found our way to him.
