Sherif Nasr's Online Review Report Card

My son went to this doctor since he was a baby and nearly died 3 years ago because of how severe his asthma and allergies are and this doctor said my son was doing this for attention. I finally switched pediatricians and got the referrals I had been begging for only to find out my son did have severe allergies as well as asthma. The office tried to call me about my youngest child needing a physical and I told them we will not be returning and the young lady caught an attitude when I called her out when she was incorrect with my child’s information and transferred the call when I told her this is exactly why I would never have any of my children return there. This office is so unprofessional on top of the doctor’s misdiagnosis-he would get upset when I brought my son to the ER because his throat was literally closing. My red flag should’ve been when I saw him ignoring other parents begging for referrals and I overheard him downplaying the symptoms of the children.

I would not recommend Dr. Nasir located on Atlantic Avenue. He is definitely a computer doctor. During my sons visit, he paid more attention to the Epic screen than he did to my boys. He is unaware about special needs. In fact, he is misinformed and sounds like a text book from the 1960’s. He said something so offensive to me. A huge issue for my husband and myself was that when he wasn’t staring at the computer, he was talking. He never took the time to listen. Awful! Do not bring your child to this doctor!!

I've been visiting with Dr. Nasr for 24 years now. He is the medical provider for all three of my girl. I wouldn't change him, very good with children.

He did not treat me and my son well refused medicine even though he was vomiting in the waiting area . He also made it seem like it was my fault my son has autism and told me the therapy i was getting him was wrong . I feel like like we were discriminated against .

Good Doc really trys to help

Jonathan O'Grady, this is my child's pediatrician and he is very good. While your review may be honest I think you applied it to the wrong doctor... unless you are under 18 years of age.

Dr Nasr is, in my opinion, one of the most fantastic doctors I have ever met. He is extremely knowledgeable and effective. He cares a great deal about the patient ( my two young children, including a baby). Dr Nasr has had many years of experience and makes you feel like you are in excellent expert hands. His social sensitivities are also stellar and he has tremendous observation skills. He never misses a trick. But the best part about Dr Nasr is that he is always smiling and makes me laugh every time I visit him. I feel enormously lucky to have Dr Nasr as my doctor and I would travel very far to see him and his amazing support staff at Atlantic Av medical centre. Bravo Dr.NAsr: Keep up the great work!
