Sudarsanam Konka's Online Review Report Card

On April 7th I had an echocardiagram at Dr. Konka's office. Today is May 1st and I have not received the results Initially I was told to contact my primary care doctor. I called my primary care doctor and was told that he fid not get the report. I have called Dr. Konka's office numerous times and was told that they would fax the report immediately. Unfortunatelyvthis has not happened. It appears that I am going to go to hos office and pick up the REST FIND SNOTHER CARDIOLOGIST!!

My issue is not primarily with the doctor it's with the operation of this location. I arrived for a stress test at 11am ( last meal was at midnight)After waiting for over 1 hour I decided to remind the front desk attendants that I had a 11am appointment. It appeared they forgot I was waiting. I was called in at 12:15 pm for my first test which lasted all of 15 minutes. I then waited over 5 hours to use a treadmill. The technician continued to inform me that it would be a 30 minute wait, I would be the next patient, as I patiently waited to be seen. I ended up leaving the hospital after 7pm. At this hour all of the doctors were gone for the day so I was unable to have my results explained to me by a doctor (FYI the technician bragged that this was one of the only locations that provides the results the same day). I was told that Dr. Konka, would call me by next week Wednesday (a full 8 days after my appointment). Nearly a month later no call no follow up. Today 06-11-2019 I speak to an agent at the front desk I explain that I have been waiting for nearly a month for my results. She informs me that the Doctor is out until the July 1st I will have another doctor contact you if something is wrong with your results. I reply " I would like for a doctor to contact me regardless of my results. I made the mistake of choosing a location that was close to me save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

Dr. Konka was my cousin's primary doctor. During an almost 4 month hospitalization he stopped in sporadically to see her. Had no value add to her treatment, spoke all doom and gloom to the family, made no recommendations, and did not respond to phone calls. On the day she passed away he walked into the room, saw all of us surrounding her with love, did not know who her next of kin were, asked someone and walked out. I would like to see this practice close!!!

Always a long wait, to me a minor issue. The bigger issue: The doctors actually refused to give me results of a routine test since I did not make a follow up appt to talk. Sharing results would think this would be part of a good doctor's ordinary course if they recommended you come in for a test. They did not seem to care about my health or follow up to what brought me there. I actually had to make an appt with a whole different doc just to talk to a doctor. That seems not right.

Quite possibly, one of the most genuine and caring physicians I have met. Not only does Dr. Konka take the time to really listen to his patients, but he is reassuring and focused on individualized care. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends. Thank you for all of your help and support, Dr. Konka!

Dr. Konka is a genuine and caring physician. I have been his patient for a long time and he has always been honest and straightforward. He does not have a God complex, but he is experienced and knows what he's doing- which I appreciate in my doctor. I have already recommended him to family and friends as a cardiologist and I will continue to do so.

The most insensitive, unprofessional, cruelest, meanspirited, god complexed; changes diagnosis and prognosis from day to day even though other docyers were in conference and attest to same.
