My mom had been unhappy at several facilities. Then she moved to Sunrise and settled in. The staff are lovely and patient. Thank you!

Sunrise of Sheepshead Bay is a well run facility that caters to the needs of the residents as well as their families. They offer an abundance of activities along with a caring team of professionals.

Wonderful facility! The folks at Sunrise really care about the people who live there. I always felt like they were genuinely interested in my mother's well-being and happiness. They were extra attentive during Covid; bringing games and little gifts to my mom to keep her engaged during lockdowns. Highly recommend!

After a 20-year career devoted to seniors, 17 of them in assisted living, my professional experience became personal when my sister needed post-rehab care. Though I was well acquainted with the high standards of Sunrise Senior Living and knew many of its dedicated staff members, I now see firsthand how it earned such a fine reputation. These are some highlights: • Beth Chevere, Assisted Living Coordinator, is outstanding! She is the oil that keeps things running smoothly and the glue that keeps everything together. • the employees are a cohesive team • residents are treated with compassion and respect • the nursing staff is excellent • the “Road Home” transitional program is a blessing • the accommodations are attractive and clean • the food is delicious I love my big sis and want the best for her. I certainly found it at Sunrise in Sheepshead Bay.

I am the CMO for On-site Provides, the dental mobile clinic. We have been working with residents of Sunrise for more than 7 years. The facility is clean and comfortable and the staff are outstanding. The management team are helpful and resourceful. The residents are happy and well cared for by the staff. They seem to have a great bond.

The facility and care at Sunrise at Sheepshead Bay are pricey but it's worth the extra cost. The facility itself is immaculate, the staff are kind and helpful and the administrators are understanding. When we were having some financial difficulties in keeping up with the payments, the Executive Director sent us an application for Extra Help for seniors from the State and it worked! The benefit amount is enough to keep Dad where he is and we do not have to disrupt his living situation which is ideal. I try to keep up with State entitlements and I had never heard of this one. We are SO thankful to Sunrise and the State of New York!

My Mom has been a resident and I have to say Sunrise has godsend. From the beginning the safe has not only received my mom great but the rest of my family. They have been very flexible and patient with her transition and really taken her in as a family. With the activities they provide it has helped my mom more than we could have ever imagined. Management has addressed any issue that arose as well as provided follow-up to ensure things are going well. As I leave out-of-state, when I call, they direct me to her or lets me know when to call back. So just want to really say THANK YOU!

As an attorney who deals with the elderly, Sunrise at Sheepshead Bay, is one of the best facilities in Kings County if not the best. They routinely work with my office and provide exceptional services. I am happy to refer them to any family looking for an assisted living.

I really enjoyed my experience at this facility.. the place was very nice and clean. The staff there was amazing and very welcoming. You can tell they really care about their residents.
