Showed up on time for my appt. Waited for over an hour and the doctor never even saw me. No respect for her patients

She is am amazing dr. Very professional and understanding. I have referred lots of women in my family and i will definitely recommend this dr. The staff was amazing and a beautiful greetings from the front office FIVE STARTS !!!!

I have been going to Dr. Tummings for several years. As a black woman, I am particular about seeking practitioners who have my best interest at heart. Unfortunately, Dr. Tummings has revealed herself to be what I would consider, “a merciless doctor.” Granted she is very straight forward and knowledgeable about information but can be very condescending and cold in the delivery. I have even given her feedback about this communication and she responded “a lot of my patients seem to feel this way, but this is just how I talk.” In addiction to the poor communication, she does not follow up about urgent matters even by a phone call. She is only available through the patient portal. Even there I had to follow up with her about my lab results that needed immediate attention, some that turned out to be way overdue because she did not follow up. In response to seeking more information about my results, she shared an unclickablelink to a brochure, no suggested next steps. She is not a caringdoc

I had a very uncomfortable experience here. She was inappropriate and made me feel bad for my discomfort. Please go elsewhere. Edit: not sure how thorough of an investigation this was, as they never contacted me. If they had, they would know that I had been to another location under my real name (this is just a spam google account)-but my review still applies to this doctor, regardless of which location she is working at.

I am truly saddened to have to express dissatisfaction with Dr. Tummings. First, I waited over 3 hours to be seen. When I finally did get to see her, she went ahead without warning with a rectal exam (which I'd never had) that was extremely uncomfortable (never had any Entry of any kind in that area) and commented to the aide "Look how she's running" as I retreated upward on the exam table. Really?! She did the exam and suggested a mammogram, which was fine and thorough, so I did appreciate that. I got the results back from the complete breast exam. But she never addressed the original issues that I came with and she never gave me a diagnosis from. my pap smear. Overall, it was not a good experience. I got a response from the owner of 363 Greene Ave. They are correct, I haven't gone to this location. I was at the Schemerhorn address. But I wasn't reviewing the facility, I was reviewing the doctor. And I don't care where she was, she was awful! Dr Tummings responded to me, and here is my response to the Dr. I did see you downtown Brooklyn. Livingston St. (not schermerhorn, sometimes confuse them, just a block over) But I am MOST CERTAINLY NOT CONFUSED ON YOU NOT INFORMING ME OF THAT RECTAL EXAM! NO WAY POSSIBLE! I DIDN'T FORGET, I DIDNT MIS-HEAR YOU, BECAUSE YOU NEVER ASKED! IM EXTREMELY CLEAR ON THAT!!. I take no satisfaction of this review, quite the contrary. I wanted a black female Dr. and I searched for you, and it was a deep disappointment for me to receive that treatment from you. I'm sorry Dr. Tummings, you did not say anything to me about the exam.I wouldn't have forgotten THAT.

Please read the 1 star reviews here and elsewhere. I had a terrible and traumatic experience with this doctor. So have many other women. I have to assume she is soliciting 5 star reviews to salvage her reputation; it’s the only way her ratings can be as high as they are. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT SEE THIS “DOCTOR” EDIT: The owner claims I've never been to her office. This is a lie. I would not forget the name of someone who abused me as she did. Trust the other reviewers.

I wanted to appreciate supporting this physician, however her bedside wasn't the best. She did not let me know when she would start examining me and it was very uncomfortable. I must say her front desk staffer was veryyyy nice.

I’ve only had great experiences and advice from Dr. Tummings. She is awesome!

Have been coming here for a few years and Tummings is highly knowledgeable and professional. Love the office and I'm never in there for very long.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tummings since 2016. I have received great health care and services from her and her staff. She takes her time with her patients and provides detailed information in regards to my needs. In the past I have experienced a wait time, but that's normal in any doctor's office. She follows up, especially when there's an emergency. Every time I visit, I know I’m in good hands.
