List of Wise Orthopedic Physical Therapy's Reviews
I am a 5x marathoner who suffered a grade 3 stress fracture while training for my 6th marathon. I was devastated to learn I would be on crutches for ~12 weeks because of this injury, and would require intense physical therapy to ever return to running. Fast forward 6 months from my diagnosis--I'm jogging again with no pain thanks to Dr. Weis. When I first came to Dr. Weis, I immediately recognized that she had the knowledge to treat me and achieve my goal of running again. She worked with me to create a treatment plan that was both achievable with my busy schedule and affordable for my budget. During our time together, it was clear to me that she is incredibly empathetic and sincerely cares to see her patients achieve their goals. She listened to my fears, helped me through any setbacks, and got me back on track to run another marathon when I feel ready. I recommend Dr. Weis to every runner in NYC (and beyond!). Her 1-1 physical therapy approach was absolutely critical for me in transitioning off of any assisted devices (crutches/cane), gaining confidence in balancing again, eventually walking again, and now in my return to running. You will not regret working with her. Thank you Dr. Weis for helping me return to doing the thing I love most!
Danielle is truly the best of the best when it comes to PT! After herniating a disc and having chronic SI joint pain for years, I wasn't sure if I'd ever be able to return to my baseline strength or be able to do all of my favorite forms of exercise again. I went to a different PT clinic before seeing Danielle and didn't see lot of improvement. After only 4 sessions with her, I'm back to running and strength training, which has helped me regain confidence in my body's capabilities. She's extremely knowledgeable and meets you where you're at, customizing each session to address your needs. I appreciate that she takes a holistic approach and weaves together mobility and strengthening exercises with manual manipulation therapy, cupping, and lymphatic drainage. I'm so grateful that my friend recommended her to me!
Danielle is awesome. She has helped me get back to doing the things I love after knee surgery, shoulder surgery and countless tweaks in between. She takes the time to really understand what the problem is and then takes an active approach to fix it with Both hands on mobility work and exercise. Can’t recommend her enough.
Danielle is wonderful to work with! I've had some difficulty with my knee for the past 9 months and she was able to teach me how to improve my running form in order reduce the pain I was feeling. The cupping she did was an added bonus. I highly recommend seeing her for a consult!
I went to Wise for my left shoulder after a bad slip for years never got better. After 5 sessions my shoulder, though still needs a bit of babying, I was able to do yoga and go bouldering yesterday. Highly recommend this physio.
Dr. Danielle is the best! I’ve worked with her for a couple of years on both PT and run coaching and have benefited from her 1:1 attention. She is knowledgeable, caring, and totally dedicated to her patients. These qualities are reflected in her creative running plans, which she creates and tailors to YOUR goals. Her weekly check-ins are truly motivating and helped to keep me accountable and on track to smash a marathon PR. Highly recommend Dr. Danielle!
I’ve been fortunate enough to work with Danielle for more than a year now and cannot say enough positive things about her. She not only has the technical knowledge to help you with whatever physical challenges you have, but also is blessed with the kind of youthful exuberance and enthusiasm for what she does that is contagious, even to an old burn-out like me. Speaking as someone who was never interested in sports or athletics, I can honestly say that Danielle’s love for what she does and for helping you move way past your comfort zone has been an absolute joy to experience. She’s not the first PT I’ve worked with in my life, but she is far and away the best. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a superbly talented therapist who will give you the motivation to keep at it, no matter what condition you’re in when you start. She really is that good. (And no, we’re not related!)
My experience with Danielle was very positive. I had been seeking a practitioner of POSE method and she taught me a lot in addition to that. She also helped me acutely with a hamstring / knee strain. She has been pivotal in my returning to running with less fear and more knowledge.
Danielle is extremely knowledgeable and skilled. I really appreciate that her sessions are one-on-one and that she provides manual therapy. I’ve personally benefitted and I also recommend her to my acupuncture patients.
Danielle is a fantastic PT who always takes the time to listen to me and find a plan of action that leaves me feeling better than when I came in. I wish I could see her each week!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
