Dr Talhouk and his nurse made me very comfortable from my first visit. I appreciated the thorough explanation of what was to occur. His sense of humor during both procedures was helpful. His nurse is great. They make a great professional team. I highly recommend him for anyone who needs general surgery.

Great experience! Dr. Akram was very thorough explaining the procedure before me and answered all the questions and concerns I had. Fran his nurse is awesome! She made the entire process of all my pre-op and post-op appointments easy and clear.

I came in to be scheduled for Hernia Surgery. He answered all the questions I had written down, all of my concerns were answered. His Nurse who helped me check out was very helpful, we were able to set up all of my appointments necessary before the Surgery. She was very nice, with a smile the whole time. Put a lot at ease for me. Great Job.

The First time I saw Dr. Talhouk was in an emergency setting. I had a infected, accessed, perforated, colon. I was in pretty bad shape. 12 inches of my colon removed, left ovaries removed, appendix removed, with a temporary Ostomy bag included. All caused from diverticulitis. I was in the hospital (Kenmore Mercy) for 3 weeks. Following that I went into a nursing home for rehab. I was put on a wound ...

Dr. Talhouk was exceptional. He diagnosed my problem and assured me that surgery was the best option for my hernia. Although the situation was not an emergency, it was considered urgent and he took the necessary steps to schedule my surgery as soon as possible. Also, I very much appreciated his personal contact regarding rescheduling because of a blizzard.
