Unfortunately I did not follow my instincts and go elsewhere for my care. I believe the protocol for professionals is treat first from least to most and paramount, "Do no harm!" I'd go elsewhere for cardiac care, and certainly will never go back .I think he could have made better choices in my care that would have precluded damage to my heart. So....the damage is done.
Amazing! I could not recommend him more, he has a wonderful bedside manner and you can tell he genuinely cares about the well being of his patients and their families. Dr. Farhi and the whole team at Gates are incredible!
Dr. FARHI placed a heart stent in my 90% closed artery. He and the Gates team were excellent. My life has been given back to me and I couldn't be more grateful. Before, just walking to get the mail was enough to make me breathless. I was always active but even light exercise was not possible. I was only lightly sedated and awake during the short procedure. I actually felt improvement being rolled back to the room. Dr.FRHI was recommended by Dr. D'ANGELO my cardiologist at BUFFALO MEDICAL GROUP, also top notch. FARHI is a very quiet and compassionate person and he discovered and fixed my issue with laser accuracy. Gates also is far above in terms of facility and patient care. I don't want to think about what would have happened if I had ignored my symptoms.
Love Love Love him and Deborah Lavin...he saved my life back in 2003 when there was no beds available. He said bring her up here....and saved my life...I will love this doctor and his staff forever!
Since having open heart surgery for a congenital birth defect @ age 64, I & my 78 yr old husband have been seen by Dr Farhi. He is through, carefully reviews all tests that he & others have ordered & preforms tests & procedures we need . He listens while answering all questions in a direct, thoughtful way. He staff now is also superb! We literally trust him & his staff with our lives! He has left Buffalo Medical Group & moved to Buffalo General Hospital joining Great Lake Cardiology. He is A1!
