Evergreen Health's Online Review Report Card

I haven't written Yelp reviews in years. I actually dislike writing Yelp reviews but in this case I'm hoping this might help someone out. My 5 stars are for the pharmacy, Transgender care coordination, and primary/specialty care. I award zero stars to the mental health department in the context of the transgender care regimen and maybe about 2 stars for the substance abuse counseling program. The mental health department at Evergreen has treated me like a terrorist since the day I was enrolled. The mental health department also seems to be obsessed with 'functional' trans women and it is disgusting that so many of them feel that way. I recommend Evergreen aside from the very poor quality mental health providers that they pair up with transgender women. Seems like the hierarchy is very racist there in that department. You can feel that the people who work there were preferenced for their looks and demographic backgrounds and they truly act like they think they are to be considered above their patients for all of time. They hate patients who are on state Medicaid/low income and they hate transgender patients. They hate people who weren't born in the contiguous states or Alaska. I'm not sure how they feel about Hawaiians but they definitely despise Puerto Ricans. I think their main goal is to attract rich people with way too much money and trick them into soliciting for something other than the type of help that a person of decency like myself goes into a clinic of the likes for. It's like they wanted to trick me into making myself liable for their much needed remodeling while I was just simply so perplexed and on my one track transgender mind that I didn't even understand what was going on. Until I finally noticed I was being led on and lied to about the final point that they advertise in their transgender health program which is referral for medically necessary gender affirming surgery. Honestly I encourage anyone wealthy who likes to please unsympathetic people to just give a grant to this department so they can finish their remodeling and stop being so abusive to other patients, as the location of the clinic would have been perfect for me otherwise. To the security team at Evergreen please stop treating me like a terrorist and stop listening to these racist, classist, ableist brats. I'm never going near the door of the mental health department or calling them again. So please stop stigmatizing minorities and people who seek help for their mental health and gender affirmation. It's been quite a disgusting time with the Evergreen mental health department.

Evergreen health needs to work on treating trans patients in a fair manner for primary care and trans care. Not discharging patients for there doctors poor bedside manner or the doctors over proscribing medications that in turn make them ill. Punishing patients for using the portal or calling the office. Then the doctor doesn't want to use the portal so they discharge you. Then when you the patient pulls them up on there bad behavior they get rid of you as a patient. Writing a more then one portal message gets you discharged, calling more then once a day gets you discharged refilling meds thru the portal gets you discharged. All things said to me by there employees. Here is the patient Bill of rights:the right to be treated with respect and dignity,the right to make decisions regarding healthcare,the right to choose a doctor that can give adequate care,the right to ask questions and have them answered in easy to understand terms,the right to be free of abuse, neglect, or exploitation,the right to know how much medical treatment will cost before undergoing any procedures,the right to access one's own medical information, andthe right to emergency medical treatment regardless of the ability to pay.Hope this helps other people considering this location for medical services.

This health clinic is wonderful. So helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive. Helped my partner when he was very sick and had no health insurance. The billing department was a saving grace! They can help you with sliding scale or apply for Medicaid insurance. This clinic was able to do bloodwork and help with next steps . Thank you Evergreen.

Omg! We are so lucky in Buffalo to have Evergreen Health. Evergreen Health has a primary care service that specializes in helping the LGBT community. They offer free PrEP (Pre-exposure prophylaxis), which reduces your risk of HIV by 99% if taken daily. They also do STI testing, which is also free. I switched to them for my Primary, and my Primary Care Provider is excellent! He helped me get the HPV vaccine (Gardasil 9). I went to 2 other providers, and they both denied me saying I was too old to get the vaccine. Not only did they help me get my vaccine, but they made sure my insurance covered it at no cost. They go above and beyond to make sure your healthcare needs are met.They also have a pharmacy, which makes it super convenient. Their pharmacy can deliver to your house at no cost, which is pretty incredible, especially during COVID-19 when you need to reduce the amount you go out. I definitely recommend Evergreen to anyone looking for a primary.

This place is incredible. The staff from nurses and doctors to reception are the most helpful people I have ever encountered at a medical facility. They treat you like family and are so detailed when you are a first time patient with no judgement whatsoever, I felt completely at ease for the first time ever at a doctors office. They even helped me deal with my terrible insurance company and got an issue resolved that anywhere else would have told you to deal with yourself. I am so happy I found this place and would recommend highly!

Evergreen Health is health care and support exactly how it should be, inclusive, safe, and friendly while emowering patients to take control of their health. I recently learned Evergreen Health existed and their services during a Public Health class presenation and with this being my first time here, and I can honestly say I have never had a medical experience that was this fabulous. The moment you walk through the door you are warmly welcomed, almost like a family reunion and guided to where you need to go. Every person you interact with will treat you with respect and dignity, every single person is welcomed. The actual medical team knows exaclty how to interact with patients and talk to them in the most inclusive way with complete non-judgment. They provide you with every option possible to make it work for you be it finances and cost, accessibility, or whatever else you may need. Best of all they keep you in charge of your own health, it is the patient who makes the decisions!Fabulous care here and even in the time of the pandemic covering your every need in such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Bravo Evergreen, this is how health care SHOULD be!
