Was in the Hospital and he came breezing in announcing he was my new GI doctor and made it feel like I had no choice but to go with him although in his words “he normally doesn’t take patients with my insurance”. Should have said no right then with how he seemed almost uninterested in my care or what could be done as far as treatment. Kept pushing me for surgery like he felt like surgery was a cure all and he acted like he wanted to drop me as a patient but had no nice way of telling me so. My conditions did not warrant surgery at the time and felt so disrespected like he wasn’t truly listening to me and working with me. The staff were even more rude and told me I could not change to another doctor in the same practice but gave no decent reason as to why. Then claimed I missed several appointments with him (which is untrue). Dropping him and that practice was the best thing I did. Would not recommend

Our experience with Dr. Fayyaz was probably one of the worst I’ve ever experienced with any doctor. My son was referred to him after his colonoscopy. Dr. Fayyaz prescribed some medication and instructed him to follow up in 3 months. After sending numerous portal messages about concerns and worsening symptoms and condition, they finally instructed my son to come in. It was a complete waste of time. Dr. Fayyaz looked like he was completely bored. He did not take any of my sons concerns or the fact that he’d lost so much weight into consideration. The nurse showed more concern for my son than the doctor. When he said he was increasing the dosages on his medications, he could not provide a rationale for why, considering there had been no improvement on them. Then we got his what seems to be standard, follow up in 3 months. Thankfully my son’s pediatrician cares and was concerned. After having my son come in to see her, she immediately called me expressing concern about how sick my son was and came up with a game plan that included going to a different GI MD, the next day. That doctor immediately ordered all kind of tests and in less than a week has discovered several problems that are being addressed immediately. Dr Fayyaz’s bio says if he wasn’t a doctor he’d be an engineer. I think he should have become an engineer because he certainly doesn’t seem to have an ounce of care or concern for incredibly sick young adults.

His staff is rude. Doesn't seem interested in the patient. More of a push over. It is sad because when I started with him, He seemed to care more. Would not recommend.
