Sandra Everett's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Everett is rude, quick and demeaning in several of my visits. She is inflexible to patients opinion and opinion regarding treatment. It's unfortunate she is the only cornea surgeon in the Buffalo area. I'm headed to Rochester for treatment.

I have been experiencing foggy grey vision for two years in my left eye. She did testing to reveal l had severe dry eye and implanted tear duct plugs. It has been amazing my vison has cleared. I am so grateful

Dr Everett is thorough and shares readily what she sees and or is looking for. She has been my opthalmologist for many years. And I see great because she stays ahead of problems

Although I think Dr Everett is very skilled surgically I would avoid her and her office at all cost. My now 90 year old mother (She was 85-88 when she saw Dr Everett) Went to her for a few years. She had two corneal transplants. The first one went very well . After the second one she did have complications of an infection. Dr Everett acted like it was her fault and treated her awful. Dr Everett has absolutely NO bedside manners. She is the rudest physician I have ever had to deal with andI have been a surgical nurse for the last 40 years so thats saying something. My mother would get so stressed and upset days before we would have to go see her, which is ridiculous. We never got in to see her earlier than 2 hours after our scheduled appointment and her waiting room would be full of mostly very elderly people who had a hard time sitting there waiting. She could of cared less. When you finally get in to see her she could not bean ruder . The first time or two I thought she had a bad day but after two 2-3 years of this I realized it was her. I work full time and on several occasions I would have different people take her. Probably about 5 or 6 different people. Every single one of them came back and said to me, "What a horrible person". On one of her last visits a friend of mine took her for me who evaluates hospitals and Doctors for a living giving them advice on how to have a better practice. She called me from Dr. Everetts office and said "I don't care how good of a surgeon this women is. Why would you subject your mother to this on a regular basis? She is absolutely horrible." I then switched to Dr Gloss at Fichte, Elmer and Endl. She has been absolutely fabulous. If Dr. Everett ever gets to read this I would say, please get yourself some professional help because there definitely something wrong. As someone who has worked in the health profession for 40 years this is unacceptable. Your obviously a very good surgeon. Its unfortunate that you can't be a little kinder and patient with people. This is 2020. People have choices. You need to change. For people thinking of going to her, if you do, I would give her one chance. If she treats you unkindly, leave. No one deserves to be treated badly. Especially in a situation when you scared and just what to ask questions and be heard. There are many wonderful Doctors out there. Don't let anyone tell you differently. You have choices.

Dr. Everett is the best eye Dr. that iv'e went to since I started wearing glasses at age 12. She always knows who you are and has addressed any problems I have had. Donna and the other office staff are great also.

Dr Everett was great! Answered all my questions, explained everything she was doing, discussed diagnosis, treatment options, recommendations. Her staff was lovely, informative and helpful.

Extremely cold to me. She told me to get a cornea transplant without even looking at my medical history. Got a second opinion and was told not to get one, due to my diagnosis and situation. DO NOT go to her!

Dr. Everett can appear somewhat cold and disinterested but be assured that she is 100% on top of your situation. In my opinion, there is no finer corneal specialist in this part of the state. She considers all options and chooses the best that would fit your needs. If you do not understand anything, just stop her and ask for clarification. She will give you information at your level of understanding. I'm so very blessed to have been referred to her when my cornea was scratched and subsequently became infected. In addition, she corrected cataracts in both of my eyes and the procedure was not intimidating whatsoever.

After about a year of visual deterioration in my vision with blurriness, my ophthalmologist suggested that is see Dr. Sandra Everett. After a thorough evaluation of my situation, Dr. Everett suggested that I have a cornea transplant. The evaluation was straight forward and in terms I could understand with all my questions answered. The transplant was virtually pain free and by following her instructions to a T, it was a wonderful success. Because of Dr. Everett and her professional staff, I am able to keep my home, drive again, read my mail, write my own checks and start a new life once again.

I do not recommend adrenaline Sandra Everett. She was very rude to me and my husband from the time she walked in until she left! When I asked a question she said look it up on the internet! Seriously!!! This is what I am paying for? She was all about herself though, as if she were god! I will not go back!!!
