And were you also aware "surgery" doesn't even have to be performed by a Physician?<br><br>Here is the back story...<br><br>My wife went to Finger Lakes Bone and Joint / Orthopedic Urgent care in Canandaigua as her finger was injured the week before and was not improving. They took an x-ray and indicated the finger was broken but it was too late to do anything other than "buddy tape" the fingers together. "Buddy taping" involves using $.10 worth of medical tape and taping the broken finger to the adjoining finger - the tape was applied to the two fingers by a Nurse Practitioner. The Nurse Practitioner performed the buddy taping in under one minute. The actual Physician - who I assume looked at the x-ray - never even came in to see my wife. Not an issue considering the diagnosis ... until we found out my wife had just had surgery.<br><br>We had no dispute or issue with the diagnosis or the "buddy taping" - until we got the bill and found out she was charged over $300 for a "surgical procedure". She was charged $315.59 (before insurance) to be exact. She was also charged for the office visit and the x-ray - and those fees were reasonable and expected - but over $300 to have a Nurse Practitioner tape two fingers together?<br><br>Believing this had to by some kind of mistake, we contacted our insurance carrier and eventually Rochester Regional Health. Nope. No mistake made. Taping 2 fingers together is "surgery" at Rochester Regional Health.<br><br>So ... if you believe being charged over $300 to have a Nurse Practitioner perform "surgery" by taping two of your fingers together is reasonable and justified then by all means you should utilize this medical practice.<br><br>Next time you look at the outrageous cost of healthcare just remember - over $300 to tape two fingers together.

Stopped in for a urgent Care visit no doctor on site this place is an effing joke never coming back

Dr. Cywinski lies to patients about their results. I went in for my mri results where I was told that my mri results came back normal. Fortunately I receive the results as well through MyCare so I knew that while no stenosis, fractures or spondylolisthesis was present they did find degenerative arthritis. I brought it up and he proceeded to try and tell me that a majority of people have degenerative arthritis in their back. Look elsewhere for help.

We always appreciate Dr. Cywinski and the PA was wonderful. However, the front receptionist with the blonde hair was EXTREMELY rude to my daughter and I when we got to the appointment. We forgot to bring a mask and saw that there was a sign that masks were required. We went right to the desk to ask if we could have a mask. The blonde woman, that I was not even talking to, behind the desk turned and VERY RUDELY said, "Was the sign on the door NOT BIG ENOUGH?" I replied that we saw the sign, however, we forgot and didn't have any masks with us. She continued to tell me that the sign was there and I said that I realized that but I didn't have one...that was why I asked. She very rudely turned back around and continued whatever she was doing before we entered at that point. I couldn't believe how disrespectful she was! And, the waiting room was filled so everyone could hear her yell at me really sarcastically! She is lucky that she works with kind and caring doctors because no other workplace would allow her to be so awful to patients/customers.

Not what I expected from an urgent care. Big sign outside saying they take walk ins. I had to make an appointment. I was told by receptionist that I will have to come back another day. i was made to feel like my time is not important. Urgent care should have a doctor available to take those walk ins. They are rather insensitive.

Very unorganized and unprofessional office especially the secretaries. Took me almost a month to receive documents I really needed for my care and treatment. Called them almost every day for a month to get my documents and every time I called, it was like I was a new patient all over again. Had to physically show up to the office twice to get my documents. Secretary attempted to tell me I had to wait another 7-10 business days for my documents the second time I should up when I told her I would not be waiting another day and that I was not leaving until I got them. The doctor who did treat me was okay which is why I give this place 2 stars; But the receptionists were awful. I had to really contain myself and not go back to my old ways with this office. They are not caring at all about the patients and what they have to go through considering if it wasn't for us, they would not have a job.

Worst customer service I’ve ever had. The staff and doctor are uncaring. I was left to be their last patient of the day. When the doctor came back to finish up he looked at his watch twice. When I went to leave the waiting room lights were off and the door was locked. I had to take another door out. If I could give no stars I would.

Took my mother there for hip pain. They sent her for an MRI. First follow up appointment, the Doctor never reviewed the MRI. He passes the buck & had her come back for second follow up appointment. Second appt. PA was rude & unprofessional. She did not listen to my mother & said my mother would have to have a MRI. WHAT??? I was blown away. She just had one, that's why we're here!! PA stormed out. Dr came in & was just as rude. Won't be going back.
