List of Raymond Thomas's Reviews
Many years ago, while going through a dramatic weight loss and severe stomach pain, Dr Thomas and his assistant Ginger were the only Drs I saw to truly take hours of their time to figure out what was going on. I will never forget that.
DO NOT GO HERE!!! beyond unprofessional. I called 2 weeks ago to schedule an appointment, and to confirm my insurance was taken, otherwise I would not have scheduled the appointment. I expressed I was in extreme pain for over a month as well. A week before my appointment the incompetent staff called me to tell me that my insurance was not covered. A complete joke, and a waste of a sick person's time. Now I am still in severe pain, lied to by this joke of a doctor's office. again DO NOT GO HERE, read the other reviews apparently they do this all the time. If the office reads this, you should all be fired and ashamed of yourselves for the way you treat ill people. Do you job and actually confirm insurance THE DAY YOU TELL A PATIENT THAT THEIR INSURANCE IS TAKEN, DON'T LIE AND WAIT 2 WEEKS TO CHECK IF THE INSURANCE IS TAKEN.
Excellent as soon as I walked in the door in and out very thorough and efficient thank you everyone on my procedure.
So glad and happy to hear about all the good reviews about dr.raymond and staff.makes me feel at ease about my procedure.sounds like a wonderful dr.will leave review after my procedure.its always wonderful to find a doctor that has wonderful reviews like Dr.Raymond😃I trust him 100% His staff was very courteous and kind when they called me for my appointment😊
I recently had a colonoscopy done at Thompson Hospital and Dr. Thomas was my doctor. I can't express how well I was treated and cared for. The nurses were kind and treated me with respect which relieved any anxiety I had. One in particular (wish I could remember her name) went out of her way to get me a warm blanket when I mentioned I was cold. That meant a lot to me. Dr. Thomas treated me like I was an individual not just a name on his list of patients. He made me feel relaxed while he explained the procedure and what to expect. Then it was lights out and I don't remember anything else. It was all in all a very good experience that I was extremely nervous about. Thank you to everyone involved.
Great Doctor, he explains his procedures. He listens to any questions you ask and answers them. Great man!!
Called once spoke to Krista and she was insanely rude- if that’s how they treat patients I wouldn’t recommend going there.
I had an emergency colonoscopy and polypectomy in 2016 for a GI bleed. Dr. Thomas did his job well and I appreciate that he did call on a holiday to tell me pathology came back clear. However, follow up with his office was difficult and unclear and I will not be returning to his care.
I was told by a friend today that he perforated two colons and he gave my mother a drug she was allergic to and her heart stopped. He dismissed her claim that she couldn't have that drug and never got the requisition from her other doctor and proceeded anyways. She developed aspiration pneumonia and this was all during a colonoscopy.
I am a long time patient of Dr. Thomas and find him to be very professional. I bring a list of questions and he always answers each one. I like that he lets me "steer my own boat". He has never let me down. The dread of going to see him is in dealing with his office staff -- the women - 2 in particular who "greet" you and/or make appointments. A phone interaction with one of them today left me in tears. I've never been treated so rudely and the office manager's reaction to me was inappropriate. At this point I've cancelled my appointment. I will rethink whether I want to risk running the gauntlet of those women for any future appointment. If you can get past the office staff there is a really great doctor waiting. Good luck!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
