I have been a RN for 20 plus years, have dealt with numerous doctors and I have never had a doctor be so demeaning in my life. He portrays himself as being superior to his patients. I had to have Achilles tendon surgeries on both ankles, one causing the other to become damaged. 3 out of 4 orthopedic specialist demeaning that the 2nd ankle was because of the other and this man would NOT deam it causative. He is arrogant, has terrible bedside manner and has NO compassion for his patients!!! If I could give this man a zero, I most certainly would!! I will never recommend him to anyone!!

He is a good Doctor but has not a good bed side manor! He will not take the time to let you ask questions an rushes you through appt. I found him to be very obnoxious.

This doctor was condescending and had horrible bedside manner. My consult with him was the worst I’ve ever had. He recommended a procedure that two other docs (I consulted multiple orthopedics) recommended against. He’s a quack and a jerk.

I was referred to Dr Kneifel by the VA to check for a shoulder replacement a few years ago. He didnt want to see the mri and x-rays on disc I had brought with me but did a quick x-ray and dismissed me saying he just does shoulder repair and not replacements have a good day bye. Now I must have the replacement as i am in constant level 6-7 pain as the joint has disintegrated so much debris is just "floating" and causing concerns. And that does not take into account the tendons are completely torn

Dr. Kneifel was the surgeon who completed my total hip replacement in Minot, ND at the Trinity Hospital in 1999. He is one of the best ever in his field. Thank you Dr. Kniefel for helping me to be able to walk again and being able to do more. Without the surgery, I wouldn't be able to walk.

I had to bring my daughter to see Dr. Kneifel, and it turned out she needed surgery. He was so compassionate, so wonderful with her, I was incredibly pleased. From personal follow up calls to bedside manner, you can tell he truly cares about his patients.
