List of Andrew Peretz's Reviews
I came to Somers Orthopaedic Surgery after being misdiagnosed twice at another orthopedic group. I was in so much pain that I was confined to a wheelchair. Dr. Peretz immediately diagnosed my issue. He and his assistant were extremely helpful and attentive in scheduling my MRI and surgery. My procedure was done at their surgery facility. It was spotless, had easy access and everyone there was helpful and caring. My surgery went very well. I was on my feet immediately. Now, a few months later I have no pain and have resumed all the activities I enjoyed before my condition began. The post-operative care has also been excellent. Scheduling appointments has been easy and the office staff very accommodating. I highly recommend Dr. Peretz and his team!
From the back office services to Dr. Peretz and his staff I received excellent service. Dr. Peretz was kind, thorough and knowledgeable. He took time to evaluate as well as explain what he was doing as well as what should be done and why. I never felt rushed and felt my exam was thorough.
Visit with PA Jeremy was very informative and professional. Visit referral to pain management Dr. Frustrated with inability to reach someone in Dr. Peretz office to forward notes and MRI evaluation to Dr. Piccolo. Went from one menu to another without actually talk to a real person.
Dr. Peretz did fix my ruptured disc, so far so good. Very professional. My only complaint was not having phone calls returned after leaving repeated messages.
Dr.Peretz and Amanda have changed my mothers life! She had chronic back pain for years! Sadly her Discs were so bad she needed the surgery! Everything went well and she hasn’t looked back! She’s back pain free and happy!
Have had multiple surgeries with him and have always felt better right away. He and his staff are very compassionate and professional. I have referred quite a few people to him all have been very happy
He never called as he said he would with my results of an EMG test he sent me for. While I was there he never checked if they were faxed or e- mailed to him. I called his office for a copy of my report and was told to call the Dr who did it. Also he recommended I go for a Ct scan and his secretary never call the hospital with the RX for my Ct scan when I called the hospital to schedule it I was told they never received the RX. Still waiting for him to call with my results. Very disappointed with this Dr.
Stay away from this practice. Unprofessional disorganized extremely rude office manager. Never saw the doctor after over an hour because "time had run out" + he was backed up. Maybe just as well after reading these scary reviews about his incompetency
This doctor left when my husband was describing the agonizing pain he was in. When he said it would take weeks to get an mri and steroid injection, and I told him that was unacceptable, he told us to check into the hospital via the er. When we went to the er, they told us that was insurance fraud and wouldn’t do it. The patient advocate walked in and had us scheduled for an mri and epidural in 5 minutes. We will never be there again.
I’ve never been so annoyed and disgusted. I haven’t been able to lift or straighten out my arm for almost a year, I had shown him my limited function and he asked ME why I can’t move it? I thought he was joking, I am looking for answers and he looked at me for the reason? He is the doctor. He seen me for about 5 minutes total only to tell me it’s not my neck even though I have a herniated disc, And an impingement on my humidors, whatever that is since he didn’t think it was important to mention, all he said was my neck was fine, and that he has no idea why I can’t move my arm. I swear, no bedside manner at all!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
