If I could give zero stars I would. I had a rhinoplasty/ septoplasty back in 2019 and he had told me that he wasn’t able to lift the tip of my nose. He convinced me that it would be impossible so I continued with surgery (silly me). A year later I had went back to him and told him I was having trouble breathing. He didn’t even look up my nose and told me I should just go see an ENT that there was nothing he could do for me. After paying THOUSANDS of dollars that was NOT the response I was hoping for. After going to an ENT he referred me too.. the ENT had told me to go back to Dr. Palaia for a revision. After the back and fourth I was so upset and felt very pushed off by Dr. Palaia, I decided to find another surgeon to do my revision. Well, let’s just say… I am BEYOND happy I chose another doctor for my revision and I wish I had chose him in the first place. My new surgeon told me I was 97% blocked on my left airway and he wasn’t sure why Dr. Palaia told me I should see an ENT instead of having a revision. My new surgeon WAS able to lift the tip of my nose and I am BEYOND happy with the cosmetic results. I would never ever recommend Dr. Palaia he is rude, standoffish and NO bedside manners at ALL.

I had been thinking about and talking about it for years to have a breast reduction. They were large and heavy. The older I got the more they hung, and my back, shoulder and neck pain continued to get worse from my body posture. A friend had referred me to Dr Palaia after her surgery and she was ecstatic with her results. I went for my consult, and new he was the surgeon for me, and I was then anxious and excited at the same time to get it scheduled. Bedside manner was pleasant, calming, and sincere. I highly recommend him if you are thinking about it. I am so pleased with the outcome. My life has changed because of it. I am less shy and able to wear the dress or blouse that I want to. I am weightless on my upper half and literally "have a weight lifted off my chest". I can walk around with a button shirt and not worry about my buttons popping open or my chest sticking out. The symmetrical and size are perfect. He wouldn't go lower than a full D because of my body type and I couldn't have agreed more with his decision. DO IT!! DONT WAIT! Dr Palaia is fantastic.

I went to Dr. Palaia to discuss and upper and lower Blepharoplasty. I had significant bags under by eyes and hooded eyelids. He suggested I also consider a fat transfer as I have a long narrow face and he said if I did not, I would look hallow. At first I was nervous but he reassured me it would look completely natural so I took his advice. I had the surgery in May 2022. The recovery isn't terrible, minimal pain more discomfort. He saw me every week for three weeks to monitor my healing progress and then a three month follow up. Every step of the way, he reassured me. I am so happy I had the procedure, it looks very natural. He is a master of his craft, I would highly recommend him. Also, the office staff and especially the nurses are so supportive. It was a very positive experience and I have no regrets!

I spent a lot of time researching the field and talking to people before my consultation with Dr. David Palaia, regarding a partial face lift. My daughter went with me and we both were very impressed with Dr. Palaia and his very caring staff. He addressed all of our concerns and explained everything he would do and how he would do it. I left feeling very confident that I had found the right surgeon for what I wanted. That was a year ago and I am so happy with my decision to go ahead with this procedure. The results are remarkable! I still look like me, just a more youthful version before time and genetics took its toll. Thank you Dr. Palaia!

Dr. Palaia and the people who work with him are warm, friendly and personable. This warmth and friendliness also helps to make you feel welcome and you realize you are in good hands. I emailed with questions before and after the procedure and they were answered that day. More importantly my procedure went well, the healing process has been easy and I know I will be back for my next procedure.

Have so much to say. Ladies this is worth reading. I had 30 year old implants that were both a grade IV contracture. The right breast was even worse than a grade IV. I basically lived with the contracture through a pregnancy and many years after in fear of having more surgery. It took me years & many Dr's visits to finally make my final decision. Mind you I saw Dr's out of State & In New York. I always went right back to Dr. Palaia. He was always very honest and never minced his words. Maybe It wasn't always what I wanted to hear yet that was actually what drew me back to him over the years. Well here we go as the story to healing begins. Last year about the same time around September I was scheduled to remove the implants en-block if possible and do a lift since my implants were over the muscle and Dr. Palaia told me he wouldn't do the surgery w out a lift since he knew that the results were not going to be favorable at all if I just left all this skin to hang. Please note I am about 5-5 & weigh about 120. I had such faith in Dr. Palaia that I left it all up to his judgment. Woke up in my hospital room with drains on both sides of my chest to prevent any infection or hematoma. I really wasn't in much pain. Went home the next day and began my journey to healing. To be honest it was very hard to see myself in the mirror. Yet I felt such a sense of relief. I finally wasn't feeling this awful bowling ball on my chest! I went back for my post op & as always Dr. Palaia and his entire staff were so kind. Dr. Palaia not once made me feel rushed or that any of my many questions weren't worth answering. As time progressed/ months went by. I felt wonderful yet felt I needed some sort of breast! Went back to see Dr. Palaia through out 2018/ 2019 to talk to him re maybe putting in an implant again. Wow that took a lot for me to finally agree to what has seemingly caused me so much pain and discomfort for years. Yet once again having faith in Dr. Palaia's words and approach put me at ease. I never once felt he wouldn't do the right thing by me. Fast forward to October 16th, 2019. Woke up at 4 in the morning and off I went to Northern Westchester. Funny this time I was completely at ease. I was actually excited. Came home that day and never took one pain pill, drove myself to my post-op a week later and feel amazing......I look great too. This man is truly a gift to us all. I'm tearing up as I right this because I am so grateful for Dr. Palaia. He has given me back part of what makes us feel like woman. I look in the mirror and have no idea how he made me look so perfect after what I was left with. Please ladies if you are in a situation such as I was, you don't have to live in pain or discomfort. It may take a year to fully do things the right way but it's worth every bit of that year. Dr. Palaia will only do what he feels is best. As said it may not be what you want to hear but you want a surgeon to paint the real picture not this image that isn't possible. If you have to travel to New York I promise it's worth it. I have told the office I am more that happy to talk to any patient needing to see and speak to me re what I went through. Hope I've maybe help any of you reading this.
