It takes 4 weeks to get an appointment, 4 weeks of being in pain does not matter to them. Oh and 2 hours to get in touch with someone to schedule an appointment.

If your version of “urgent” at an urgent care facility is a 1.5 hour wait, then give Ortho NY Urgent Care, Clifton Park, NY a try. Our healthcare system is broken and so is my ankle (maybe?). Hopefully it will heal on its own.

Went today to see dr Whalen.. he is no doctor or surgeon in my eyes. Let’s start with trying to get me to redo my X-rays ortho ny did a week ago but “he couldn’t find them” … then telling me I’m a stay at home mom that I could handle my pain. Disregarded my mri completely and refused surgical intervention even knowing I was a prior cervical neck surgery person before. My mri totally shows I have compression of my cord and herniated discs to the point of agony and he denied me any help. This doctor left the exam room door open for all to hear and see and was pushy, rude and in a hurry. I feel bad for his wife.

Absolutely love Dr.Coseo! I had major neck surgery with him and the care he showed and continues to show both before and after surgery has been amazing. I have never had a doctor that came several times after surgery to check in and see how I was doing. I was amazed. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a good ortho doctor without hesitation. He is very knowledgeable and you can tell he actually cares about his patients! Dr. Coseo’s assistant Isela is also amazing. She always gets right back to me. Never makes you feel like any question is ridiculous and is extremely helpful. She’s great! The staff here is also super friendly and always willing to answer any questions you may have and return phone calls in a timely manner.

Good luck getting ahold of anyone in any kind of timely manner. The phone system they use will have you on hold for half an hour while it screams ads for the office you're already trying to call. If you do the callback option they either don't call or it rings once and the voicemail tells you to call the number that puts you right back into a long hold. Forget the online appointment thing even exists because they don't respond to it. Some of the doctors I know by reputation as being great. But the scheduling system is awful.
