Dr Mazzei is wonderful. Unfortunately her medical and office staff are not. Do to that reason after 8 years I am switching to a different doctor, as I can no longer take it.

Once there Was a doctor Who really cared. Voted one of the top 10 doctors in the capital region. Alas my doctor for a decade. But what changes a wonderful doctor over a long time period? HMOs ? billing pressures? Burnout? You can forgive the little things the office staff does . But When your wonderful primary care doctor Begins to treat you poorly, you have to make a choice for your health. “Derelict of duty “ Being called by her staff and told not to come in for appointments when I am sick (including having trouble breathing) because that’s not “her department”. Being told I have an eating disorder when I have documentation of dysmotility . Refusing to coordinate my multiple issues The final straw was being questioned Dr mazzei asked me sarcastically “Who did You talk to on the phone at the call center? “ She literally asked me “What was his name? “ Dr mazzei is a good person but I wouldn’t recommend her for atypical or unusual cases.

Dr. Mazzei is great. Her nurse and office staff however are AWFUL! Completely unresponsive, do not respond to calls asking for prescription refills. When contacted they are condescending and defensive. They allow people to be without medication refills for extended periods of time which is completely unethical. I can’t imagine that dr Mazzei (if in the know on all this) would be ok with it. I plan to switch practices due solely to her nurse and office staff. They should all be replaced. THE WORST.

I have been a long time patient of Dr. Mazzei. She is wonderful. Her office staff is not. Since Dr. Mazzei moved to Clifton Park her office staff moved my care to the other Doctors who have passed through the practice. No continuity of care. The last straw came when I had an appt with one of the nurses and I sat in an empty waiting room for 45 minutes. I reminded them of my appt. about halfway through and ended up leaving without seeing a nurse or getting the shot I needed. I am just disappointed

Dr. Mazzei is a Excellent Doctor Has Been Taking Care Of All 3 of My Kids Since They Were Born The Reason She Is Always Busy Is Because You Cant Find a Doctor Who Actually Gives a Damn About You and Your Health She Sits You down and Talks To You Other Doctors are Just Trying to Get You In and Out as Fast as Possible
