Dr Childs did my total knee replacement 2 weeks ago. Before that, my knee would not straighten out completely and walking was very painful. Here I am 2 weeks later, doing pt and able to walk with a whole lot less pain !!! He was amazing and made me feel at ease from the first pre surgical visit. Everything went as easy as something like this possibly can. Would highly recommend

I started out with another doctor who I was incredibly pompous. I decided to change doctors. I found Dr. Childs almost accidently. I can't tell you how happy I am that I did. First impressions go a long way. On my first visit with him, he shook my hand and introduced himself. I found him to be very professional, but personable and not arrogant or condescending. All of the staff in the office have great to deal with. I am two weeks out of total knee replacement and walking better than I have in years.

I had a total knee replacement with Dr. Childs and he is the best!!!! He’s very professional yet will sit with you as long a it takes and answer any questions you have. He also used glue for my incision meaning less scaring. I highly recommend him!!! He’s up to date with any procedures trying to help the patients heal quickly meaning less recovery time. If you’re having any orthopedic issues, he’s the one to help!!!

From the moment I met Dr. Childs, I felt heard, safe and as though everything was finally going to get better. I had let my hip pain get completely out of control. I waited far too long to address it. After physical therapy did not help and the cortisone shot did not do anything, I was sent to him. He listened and took my pain and concerns seriously. We decided surgery was the best option. My insurance did not agree and Dr Childs fought for me. My insurance did finally agree, Dr Childs did my surgery and I could not be happier with the results. My pain is controlled, I am already walking better than I was prior to surgery (4 days post op). If you need any joints replaced, I cannot strongly enough, recommend Dr Childs. After seeing other orthopedists, I was referred to Dr. Childs, after being told I needed a knee replacement by the previous referring doctor. But when I got to Dr. Childs, he explained everything, with such care and kindness. And the greatest was that he told me that my injury could not be fixed (badly torn miniscus and a fracture) orthscopically, but that with my continued PT and ibuprofen regimen, I would not need a knee replacement for at least a few years. He was SO great. Highly recommend!

Dr. Childs did surgery on my ankle for an abscess that had come out of nowhere. It was right on the ankle bone and he was concerned the infection had gone down into the bone. Luckily it hadn't gone that far but had started up my leg a bit. He explained everything in such a kind and informative manner. I understood what needed to be done and he performed the surgery with no complications afterward. I was very comfortable with such a caring doctor, who took the time to check on me in the days to follow (I was in Clifton Springs Hospital for 6 nights). I would recommend Dr. Childs for any orthopedic problem. I was lucky to have him.
