I had suffered from severe GERD since childhood, and haven’t had any since my surgery. Dr. Maini listened, explained the surgery and what I’d experience afterwards. He always listened and was kind.

Be careful you may not survive! If he can do it to me he can do it to you!

I was patient of Dr. MAINI, and he recommended the Linx! I went in for surgery, and the next day was in the emergency room in severe pain and could not breath! After 6hrs the Doctor on call said I needed exploratory surgery, because they thought it might be perforation! When I came out of surgery I had several tubes coming out of my body! I was told my stomach was perforated when Dr. Maini did the Linx procedure! I was Septic and had less than 24 hrs to live! I was lucky Dr. MAINI wasn't on call when he talked to my husband he said the perforation would have healed on it own!! Then he doctored my medical records to make it sound like he had told me there was a possibility of perforation! Where my stomach was perforated was not near my esophagus! I was in the hospital for a few weeks! I could not eat and was on a liquid diet for over a week! What was suppose to be $100 copay because of his negligence cost us over $6000! My family came to losing me, and I am still having surgeries from what he did to me! I was healthy and had no major surgeries and a simple procedure came close to ending my life! You as the patient have no rights! He is allowed to continue to practice even though he has been investigated by the ny state board, medical board, and St. Joseph Hospital! If they want do anything I'm here to protect you and your family!!

I had a very good experience with Dr Maini. He did a thorough, altho uncomfortable, exam. He tried to put me at ease by asking me a few general questions and even making me laugh. The staff there was very friendly and kind. Dr Maini was busy but did not make me feel rushed. He was connected with me while he was with me whereas it’s usually my experience that a doctor will be talking at me but they’re in a hurry to get out of there and their minds are someplace else. Dr Maini did not make me feel like that. I appreciate that very much. I’ve seen a lot of doctors in my time and only a few have been that considerate. To most I’m just a body with a number. That’s as important as being good at your work.

I’ve only had one appt. thus far with Dr. Maini. The staff was very pleasant and kind. The doctor was really nice and he examined me and asked a few questions and went out for a few minutes. When he came back in he told me our plan of action and the whole time he seemed connected. He was busy but did not make me feel rushed. His head was in the game so-to-speak. Other doctors have made me feel like they’re talking to me but they’re looking away and it’s like they’re thinking about other things or other patients, I don’t know. Even though they’re in the room with me physically, mentally they’re someplace else. I didn’t feel that way with Dr. Maini.

Dr. Maini has done 3 surgeries on me for breast tumors. My recoveries have been very easy which I give him full credit for. He and his staff are top notch. I trust him with my life.

He made me feel comfortable and confident before surgery. He explained the procedure using pictures and diagrams making it easier to understand. He performs the surgery using the robotic techniques so recovery time is minimized. He answered all of my questions honestly and openly. He took his time and I didn’t feel rushed. Shared his knowledge along with success ratings putting my mind at ease. Surgery is now pending. Will write a second review after procedure is completed.

During an ER visit for a kidney stone, something showed up in my colon on the CT scan. The next day, I saw Dr. Maini and he moved at lightening speed setting up a colonoscopy, etc. When my tumor was found during the colonoscopy, Dr. Maini saw me the same day. He was very thorough, and took the time to answer all my questions and explain everything in detail. His bedside manner is the best that I have seen. Above everything else, he really cares and is very trustworthy. I trusted him with my life and will continue to do so. I highly recommend him. The entire staff is very warm and welcoming.

As you walked in the office , you are greeted with kind staff members. His nurses are great and very caring . Dr. Maini is as well . I have had surgery and a couple of different procedures done by him . All went well . They take time and are very considerate of your medical needs . Highly recommend this doctor. Thanks again .

Follow up to an annual physical negative thyroid sonogram was methodical Dr. Maini listened to questions and concerns, outlined a monitoring plan, explained monitoring options as well as potential actions if needed. The staff was professional, no issues. It was a positive experience.
